We currently have a line in Europe on a 30 15GB International Data Pass. Will the 5GB limit for the new high speed Data Abroad that started 6/21/22 be counted concurrently with the International Data Pass or will it start after the International Data Pass expires in about three weeks?
I’ve been having some odd network problems recently -- I have chosen to have seperate 2.4 and 5 ghz wifi networks due to some old devices (namely, a printer) not being able to use a combined network. I’m seeing some devices on my network unable to connect to other devices on the network when connected to the 2.4ghz SSID. Other devices have no problem.In any event, when I go to 192.168.12.1 and log in, I only see the 5g network listed. In the mobile app I’m seeing both.I’m not sure this has anything to do with the problems I’m experiencing but I thought I’d mention it...
Hello,I'm pre-paid and I need to upgrade my old phone as 3G is ending next month.I have my own new unlocked iphone.I bought a SIM card from my online T-mobile account from the "upgrade my device" menu.Please A B C see it for me to activate the SIM card online & keep my number.Thanks in advance!
With poor (not zero) hearing and lousy memory I avoid doing ANY business on phones -- and much prefer to have in writing in email.How can I contact support via email?Feedback: I do not want to get “texts” with codes to use my phone as a security device -- I ardently resist this from online businesses -- had to quite using a couple of credit cards and some banks and investment companies. I don’t want to get ANY texts from TM -- except for my REMAINING balance on my pre-paid phone plan. Just the balance ma’am.So, as a computer programmer -- I gotta ask, as I always do -- why not join regular email with texting and all messaging SMS, MMS, “slack”, etc …. not that technically hard and get’s us our of our communication silos (echo chambers). A few days ago my Motorola One 5G ace uploaded Android 11. Now every time when I turn it on I get this really annoying notification : Share contacts with TMobile? It offers 2 choices : Yes, or Not now. I already turned off all notifications for TMobile and yet I keep getting this notification. That is an invasion of my privacy and it really bothers me that TMobile has no respect for one’s privacy. It is of no business for TMobile asking me to share my contacts.
This is the first time I'm going to the USA. I wanted to buy two SIM cards (T-Mobile) with the $ 50 Simply Prepaid Unlimited plan with delivery to the hotel I will be visiting in a week.Everything was fine until paid. Non-US debit and credit card payments are rejected (message: invalid card number).Is it possible to buy a sim card with a new number and this plan with payment, e.g. PayPal? Or how can I pay with a card from outside the US?
I am dealing with my brother passing away and finding that T-Mobile has no customer service. Trying to pay the bill is difficult, to say the least, and getting access to the account seems to be impossible. I went to the store with the death certificate and was told to call. When I called, I was told I should have gone to the store and had them call. They took my info and never got back got back to me. When I called today they said there is only one person who can deal with it and that person is out. While waiting for a supervisor, after 1 hour 15 minutes I got disconnected. I called back it nothing. Called back and asked to be transferred to a supervisor and was disconnected. Called back yet again and the person won’t transfer me to a supervisor. This company should be avoided at all costs.
I recently signed up for the 5G home intetnet after calling and asking quesrions 1) are there sufficent towers in my area? A).yes, there are 4- 5 in your vacinity. 2) do you get good speed out here A) yes you can get grear speed, on average people get 32-116mbps down load but can get more. You can have up to 64 devices running on the tower. 3) have there been any outages A) after checking youe area, in the 24 months since rolling it out there have been no reported outages. Ok good!! I get the router and place it where the set up says was optimal to the tower and got a good signal but horrible down load speeds! I placed it all over the room it said was the best and it didnt get better. I changed the placement, turned it every which way, short of standing on my head... it didnt get probably more than 10mbps down on average one morning at 5 am i got 70mbps and was happy but it lasted maybe 1 hour! I placed it all over the house for various days. I bought a repeater it didnt work, returned
I signed up for new T-Mobile service Mother’s Day weekend online after seeing a $200 gift card per line promotion. I received my equipment about a week later and activated it. I went to the T-Mobile promotions website and filled out the necessary information to submit my request to receive the gift cards. I was denied. How is a new customer, signing up for service online, based on a promotion presented to me on the website, supposed to activate service within a 3 day window in order to qualify for this promotion?
So I just financed a phone and got a plan with it. When I ordered it, it said my monthly payment would be $64 something a month with tax. My documents say that I’ll be paying $33 a month for the phone. But I’m going to be credited so much money because I’m trading my current phone in. But in one of my emails it says a one time credit of however much money. Does this mean my bill is going to go up to $97 a month? Or will it always be $64 monthly until the two years is up?
New to T-mobile home (currently in the trial period) and have found this community very helpful. I'm really interested to know if people are experiencing intermittent connection failure. Wi-fi is strong in the house, but the internet won't connect for a few seconds at a time and it feels pretty random. I have the latest Arcadyan router and live in New York City. I’m cooking at 5 bars (excellent) and there is actually a T-Mobile store on the street level of my building. I’ve set up a script to ping google and notice that it cuts out randomly sometimes for 3-10 seconds. I’m not sure if that is a good way to test, but I’ve attached a screenshot of how the outage was recorded: https://ibb.co/x37gQpJ. I had the script running in the background when I noticed a page hanging on load. I immediate did a (google) speed test and saw that it couldn’t establish a connection to the server. All the while, I had 5bar and full a full wifi signal. I’ve even had my sim card replaced at the t-mobile store
Im the owner of the account and i cant even see any details because it says i dont have permission. They been charging me more and more since March and my phone has been hacked no one time but 3 times. I regret having Tmobile and they are not available to help in the store.
Hi all,I switched to T-Mobile from ATT end of May. I was looking forward to the keep and switch rebate as I paid over $900 to unlock my phone. Every time I check it says “Sorry, you're not eligible for T-Mobile Carrier Freedom”I have seen similar posts on this community about the same issue. Is this a scam? did I fall for it?I called customer service multiple times and they say you have to wait 5 days, then another rep said wait another 3 days. Anybody had success with this?
