I've been seeing this off and on for months in group texts mostly, but also in direct texts as well. The problem is that text messages are often delayed by up to 24 hours and then dumped all at once into my phone. This is looking to be a TMobile issue. I'm on an iPhone 11 Pro with the latest version of iOS. To sum up:This is only with text messages, not iMessage or other messaging apps. This happens when I have a good signal and a wifi connection in my house, but it has also happened when I'm out and have only cellular, but still a good signal. The other people in group chats are spread across numerous different carriers. None of them have reported this. The usual phone troubleshooting steps (quit the Messages application, restart the phone, etc) do absolutely nothing.I checked the activity logs in my TMobile account. The text messages in question all came through at the same time according to the logs. It looks like it's somehow getting delayed inside of TMobile's system.I've missed some
I have been trying to log into my T-Mobile account all day and I still keep getting the message: “Looks like we got our wires crossed. We weren’t able to process your request at this time. Please try again later.”Customer Service was no help. I was told that there was an update going on and to try again later.I also tried different browsers and changed the password. Problem not solved. Can anybody help resolve this? Thanks!
Has anyone been receiving calls from T-Mobile? The number is 844-319-1130. They say they're going to assist me to change over my Sprint account to T-Mobile. Offer me a great deal but then start asking for my pin # and account info. When I say I'll wait yhey say I have to soon or my account could be canceled. They call every other day?
Where in my simply prepaid T-Mobile cell phone documentation is my Pin Number? I reset the cell phone (Samsung G360T Core Prime) and now the T-Mobile App is asking for either my Password for the cell phone number or my Pin Number if I forgot the Password. I didn't know I had a password or a pin number.
I have an existing T-Mobile number which belonged to someone else (they are not using it now). But since it was used by someone else, I receive messages/calls from their contacts. Is there a way to get this number changed? Would the owner of the plan be needed for this change? How much would it cost?
Ok here's what is going on... I have pretty good signal almost full 5g bars most of the time down to where it drops to 4g lte at full bars. From time to time every couple hours I lose connection to the network where I can't text no apps work etc but usually I can still make calls just fine while this is happening. It only lasts 1-2 minutes sometimes or it may be out 15-20 then all of the sudden it's back to normal like nothing ever happened. It may go right back out again in 2 minutes or it may not happen for hours. Also it only happens on my new galaxy a32 not on our old galaxy j7 or prime whatever it was or on the older LG phone both of which are still being used on this account and same house at same time but they have no issues with connection ever. They aren't 5g either so I figure 5g has something to do with it. It just really gets old when you can't finish a conversation or get directions because internet/network connection just stopped. What can I do? All my connection settings
I am going to Alaska and would like to know more about the coverage. I already checked the coverage map and it indicated that there is "partner coverage". I also read that the partner coverage is provided by roaming on AT&T's network. Has anybody else been to Alaska and can confirm if it was decent coverage? Is there a charge to roam on AT&T's network? I read someone else's question posted here and one answer was contradictory regarding pricing. The answer stated calling is free but then it said calling is .20 per minute so I'm curious which it is. Is there anything we need to do to ready our phones (iPhone 6plus and Samsung Note 4) to be able to use the AT&T network? Thanks for your help.
On the new grey 5G home internet box, when you connect to its web page (typically http://192.168.12.1/), on the Overview screen, under the Devices panel, one of the items listed is “Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System”, just above “Wireless” and “Ethenet”. This implies a third way of networking devices (it currently says 0 connected). I have a Deco Wi-Fi 6 mesh router and was wondering if they could be interconnected by something other than an ethnet cable. Is this something that is currently implemented or is it just a planned feature for a future expansion? On their product page (https://www.t-mobile.com/isp/gateway) where it lists device features, it also says “Mesh expandable Yes”, but I haven’t found any details about this in the documentation.
Had no issue sending or receiving pictures with Verizon and now that I switched to T-Mobile, nothing will send or download when sent from others. I just see a box that says No Subject, Message size:___, Expires: Date. If I click the box that has a download arrow, it spins for a minute and nothing happens. Several images have expired and I never got the chance to view them. When I set up my account they forgot to turn on my data which was included in the plan. The data was turned on through tech support and my account was credited for the mistake. I have rebooted my phone several times since but this issue persists. What can I do to fix this?
Let's say you finance a device that required a down payment. After 24 months you pay off the device and pay just for the service. Does upgrading to a new version of the phone require a new down payment or is it a free upgrade? Not talking about Jump! here, just normal TMobile One service and using the EIP to finance the device.
I will be cancelling my T-Mobile Home Internet service. Do I call to cancel or do it on-line? Will they have me ship the device back or do I bring it to a local T-Mobile store? Also, am I paid through the end of the billing cycle or do they prorate from the day the service stops? I tried calling T-Mobile Customer Care, but over an hour wait right now!
I called into support and she had no idea what I was talking about or grasp of receiving a fake text. It came from the same type of auth text 456 and had the call 611 but a non 800 - hopefully allowing the fear of a charge to cause the user to click and call:See below:
We just upgraded our 4 iPhones with the On Us with Apple AirPods promotion with rebates. We are already regretting it.First the promotion credits to your account are spread over 30 months. That’s 30 months that you are now locked into T-Mobile.Second the promotion / rebate site DOES NOT WORK. When I contacted T-Mobile they sounded surprised that I was having an issue. Search the forums and you will see that this has been an issue for a lot of customers. This is a bait and switch tactic. I regret upgrading with T-Mobile. We should have just moved to Verizon.Since T-Mobile customer service monitors this forum, I want the rebates for the AirPods and iPhone trade ins taken care of immediately or I will report this to the BBB. This is clearly a known issue that T-Mobile has failed to address.
