Why? I traded my 3 phones for the free phone promo last Aug. Thinking my 3 devices will be almost free. I called customer service right away when they charged me $20 something for each phone monthly to complain. Customer assured me that they will fix the problem and rest assured that no monthly devices fee will be charged moving forward. It happenned again a month after then same promises then another month again...and every month I call ( about 8 months with more than 8 rep that I talked with same promises) What shall I do now? I am tired of calling and to waste my time. How can I file a complaint?
I’m having a problem with T-Mobile 5g home internet that has not been resolved despite many calls in to the help line. I’ve had T-Mobile 5g home internet for almost a month now, and the short version is that every so often the gateway drops the network. When I say “drop the network,” I mean to say it throws everything off of the Wifi that it’s broadcasting, and anything plugged in via ethernet says “no network found. (To elaborate this point, cell phones switch to cellular data because wifi is gone for them, and computers hardwired into the gateway think that they are no longer plugged into anything.) Turning off the gateway and turning it back on resolves the issue, but doesn’t prevent it from happening again. Whatever is happening doesn’t seem to affect our connection speed/strength when the gateway IS providing signal to devices in the home, but due to the nature of our work, we need a connection that won’t just disconnect randomly. To address this, T-mobile has so far run a
I recently got the T-Mobile home internet wireless gateway. My connection to the tower is very good to excellent. Download and upload speeds are great 40-50+ both directions! problem is, it randomly stops providing internet. Meaning, shows will be streaming at length with great speed and then boom. Dead stop. Jump on my mobile device and hit speed test on google, no internet access. I’m still connected to the device, the device is showing connected to the tower with great signal strength, it just seems to stop providing data.Sometimes it starts working again after 30 seconds, then maybe 15 minutes, then maybe I have to go and physically power cycle it. After said time when it does start working again, speeds are great, but the random downtime’s for no reason are puzzling and frustrating.is it just not reliable yet as it has been referred to as a “pilot” service?
I signed up for the Home Internet and got an email that I was activated on 04/01/21... A few days later the cylinder device arrived and connected to the internet easily. Nevertheless, I cannot register to get a T-Mobile ID for this account. I cannot login online OR use the T-Mobile app because it keeps stating they don't recognize my email. I've had two lengthy phone calls with support and visited a store (whom in turn called support)... As of now I STILL can't create a T-Mobile ID to manage my account. (This account was created using my Pre-paid phone account...) At first I thought it didn't matter that I couldn't access my account since the service is working so-so... But at the end of the first month my service was cut off as the person who initiated my account did not ensure that I was signed up for autopay. I never received an email about my bill. When I called about my service they wanted me to pay the $65 + restoration fee + plus a fee for making a payment manually over the phon
I’ve had an insane number of scam/phishing/spam calls/texts over the last few years. The other day someone called me 12 times in 10 mins. Every time I get a suspicious text, I forward it to 7726 and then block the suspicious number. I got a single reply like, the first time I forwarded the text. I’ve not gotten any replies since, so I wonder if T-mobile is even actually doing anything with the info sent to them? I’m really getting frustrated with all the spam/fraud texts and calls and wonder if it’s time to ditch this number and/or provider. It’s not like I put my number out there much, in fact I’m usually protective of my number and hand out a landline number for a lot of things.
My wifi hasn’t been working for the past two weeks. I’ve tried calling and nobody answers the phone. I just want my Internet to work. I can’t justify paying $60 a month for wifi if it’s not even working. I can’t stream anything or play video games. I expect this issue to be fixed or I’m taking my business elsewhere.
I bought 4 new IPhones last year because I started a business and wanted them for employees. I have never set them up or done anything with them. What is the best way to turn them in or what do I need to do to get rid of the service on them. I’m still making payments on them monthly? Thanks
I see other users posting pictures of the admin console for the Arcadyan internet gateway. But it doesn’t show up on mine. All I get is the home “status” page; no option to log in to admin console, no option to modify wifi settings, etc (see screenshot). I’ve tried doing a factory reset and went through the setup process a second time - still no change. What is going on here? Why can’t I get an admin console for this device?
There is a lot of internet outages since this morning. My zip code is FL 34238. That seems due from a poor 5G signal. Usually, since many months, there is a 3 bars signal but today a max of 2 bars. This is a true nightmare: no internet, no email, no bank access, no TV.Please URGENTLY FIX THAT!Thanks
So after the recent update it seems like anytime I connect to a Sprint tower (that I having been using for months. B26 and B25).I don't get this error if I connect to a tower much further away from my house (that's a T-Mobile tower) no problem, no errors, other than of course terrible speeds because of poor signal.Just wondering if this is a known issue? One thing to add is my cell phone connects to the sprint tower no problem, so it seems like a issue for just TMHI / "trashcan".
Now I only had this for a few days I think it’s worth 50/mo considering speeds are a coin flip, but I mainly got this to Hopefully Improve stream quality to twitch and stuff. The 100+mbps download is amazing though inconsistent which right now is fine. I don’t like not having at least 10MbPS up! Speed test for download goes up and down I’d say i average about 100 mbps realistically (Min so far 15 mbps max so far 200 mbps). I once had a spot where I got 13 MbPS upload I got happy just to retest and see it went down to 6… badum tsss! Do I need to test every inch of my house to find out that my hopes and dreams are crushed?
All the T Mobile pages show a web GUI with “WiFi Networks” where you can (supposedly) set a combined SSID for both bands, OR, set different SSIDs for each band. My web GUI doesn’t, nor the T Mobile Internet app…Luckily for my home automation devices, everything is connecting via 2.4GHz. Everything. Even the 5GHz enabled devices. Is the ability to set this considered “advanced settings” that “aren’t included with this web GUI release”?
NV Enegybprovides customers with a wifi thermostat. When I switched to T Mobile home internet I lost connectivity. NV Energy believes it is because T Mobile is a hot spot and not hardvwired internet. In the reset instructions the thermostat does show up in my list of wifi options and does connect, but never prompts me for wifi password. Note:. I have wifi lights that also uses 2.4, and was promoted to enter a password, and they work. Any suggestions
I currently have Asus GT-Ax11000 wifi router with 2 Asus Zen Wifi mesh nodes connected to a cable modem. I’ve set up the T-Mobile home network unit and it gets decent speeds 250-270 Mbps. Can I unplug my Asus router’s ethernet cable from the cable modem and plug into the T-Mobile unit and reset the system? Or do I need to reconfigure the Asus mesh system? Can the T-mobile wifi be turned off and simply feed from the ethernet port?
I just got my 5g Home Internet Gateway. I’ve found the best possible place to put the gateway (second floor near a window) where it indicated it has “very good internet” but I’m only getting 2-17mbps. On a good day I’ll get 20mbps for a little bit but it inevitably drops back down. However, it’s not strong enough to do any kind of gaming :( When I call customer support, they tell me the same thing, like off of a script. My tower is updating or just updated and allow three days. I’ve called twice now. How can I just keep waiting three more days? My “assigned T-Mobile expert” will not email me back (Thanks Ashely Delwin for your wonderful support!). I feel like they are giving me the runaround. Maybe prolonging the time I have it to boost their sales numbers? The question is, if my internet is this bad right now...will it really get any better? Or should I cut my losses. Is there a booster I can buy and attach to it that might help? I have very limited service options where I am in NC
Hello, I’m on the Magenta 55+ plan. I will be out of the US for about 3 ½ months over the summer traveling in Europe, most of the time in the UK. I understand I would have to pay .25 per minute for phone calls and the data speeds are very slow. I’m ok with that. I’m planning to get a local UK SIM (my phone supports dual SIM) and use the UK service for my data, so I don’t think I will be doing too much roaming on the T Mobile partner network. My question: is there any limit to how long I can spend out of the country? The fine print on the International Roaming plan says something like, “Not intended for extended International Travel” but when I ask T Mobile employees to quantify “extended” I get different answers. So far I’ve heard 3 months, 6 months, no time limit restrictions. Can anyone offer feedback from their experiences?
Hi, I am out of the USA, can not connect to my telephone mobile number. To check my balance I have to give my number, than I would get a confirmation code. However, mySIM Card does not allow to get T-mbile calls! Can I get to my account just by email without telephone connection? Anybody any idea? Thanks
