Got an invitation through email to join the “T-Mobile Home Internet Community”. Appears to be a new website from T-Mobile. unable to access internet data in Mexico appeared “PDP authentication failure”
Hi, I am in Mexico, I turned on data roaming and got a $5 add on, I have done all troubleshooting on the website but still unable to access to the internet, Safari appears “Could not activate cellular data network PDP authentication failure” contacted T-Mobile a few times still unable to use internet data, please help thank youMy account is T-Mobile Unlimited $50 prepaid + $5 add on, iPhone12 pro
T-Mobile Home Internet Service - BYOD?
I just switched to the T-Mobile Home Internet; received my gateway device; and I am not happy with signal strength of the device. I am put on Band 12 most of the time and speeds are terrible. With my previous provider I used a MOFI 4500 modem on AT&T network and I could lock in to Bands 2 & 4 exclusively and I had no speed issues. I ordered myself a MOFI 5500 model which includes the 5G bands to use instead of the T-Mobile provided device. When I moved the sim card from the T-Mobile device to the MOFI 5500 it registers on the network but no internet connection. If I move the sim card from my phone to the MOFI 5500 it registers on the network AND I have internet connection. Is there a restriction on the sim card for the T-Mobile gateway device? How can I make this work?
0% Battery, 5G21 Gateway
LOVE my new T-Mobile internet service BUT the chimney has been plugged in for 3 days and display still reads, “Battery 0%”.Does that mean it’s a defective unit or maybe no battery was installed?Speaking of battery, can you tell me what UPS units are compatible with the external UPS port on the T-Mobile hardware?Thanks!BobHe
Can't receive text messages from most sources, including T-Mobile verification
Wondering if anyone else is newly having this issue. I found this thread that started two years ago but still had replies within the last four months and there doesn’t appear to be a solution. I spent nearly an hour on the phone with tech support earlier and though we tried a ton of resets on my phone, as well as her manually changing what tower my phone is connecting to, I still cannot receive text messages from most accounts, including T-Mobile verification codes. Tech support had to text the other phone on our account so I could verify it was me. Many things require two-factor authentication these days, so I can’t just go forward not receiving texts. Tech support said they would monitor my account for 48 hours, but wouldn’t be able to tell if I was being sent messages that ultimately weren’t getting delivered, so I’m not sure what the monitoring is going to do. I’m searching for any type of solution at this point. I feel like someone ought to be able to hit the master reset on my ph
Customer Svc Fail
I’ve been a customer of Tmobile for the last 22 years, but unfortunately, I have recently had the absolute worst experience ever received from Tmobile’s customer service. Truly disappointing! I’d like to know if there is an customer complaint email that I should address my experience too rather than posting here? I am not one to complain over trivial things, but this recent experience goes beyond trivial. Honestly debating if I should remain a customer.
KVD21 gateway dropping LAN connection or cell connection?
I have just joined T-Mobile Home Internet. For my situation, I am using Asus Mesh WiFi Router in my setup, so I have only one LAN connection to the KDV21 gateway. For only 10 days since setup, I have experienced twice the connection on the LAN port has stopped. From mobile app, the gateway showed everything as normal with good signal strength and quality. So, I am not sure the connection were dropped over cell connection, or LAN ports just stop working. Restart will resolve the issue. Since I have disabled KVD21 WiFi, I can not isolate if the dropping connection only isolated on LAN ports. Either way, just wondering if others here were also experienced dropping connection on LAN ports, or it is common to dropping on cell connection while still indicated with good connection on mobile app (as well as indicated on gateway screen. I got 4 bars all the time).
cant sign in to account after cancelling a line with tmobile internet
I can’t sign into my t-mobile account after canceling a line (2GB hotspot). My account was set up with the number attached to the hotspot and now that the line is cancelled i can’t log in! I have the t-mobile home internet, only cancelled the hotspot. It keeps asking me to put in a t-mobile number to send a confirmation code to, but I only have the internet! How am I supposed to get a code to my internet??? I don’t have any phone lines with t-mobile! I need to access my bill and can’t do that!
Nokia gateway not connecting to printer
I’ve looked at several similar questions posted and none have a solution that works for me. I have been trying to get the Nokia 5G21 gateway (silver cylinder) to connect to my HP DeskJet 3775 all in one printer (just a couple of years old). The printer instructions online tell me to press the WPS button on the router but there isn’t one. Does someone here have any suggestions or do I need to call for tech support?
connected without internet
it seems my wifi is being turned off or disabled in early morning hours... I notice it from 3:30 am to 5:00am when i use my phone to do my Bible study. the app shows a connection but my phone shows connected without internet. why would this be happening? it has happened the last 2 mornings.
Tmobile lost my trade in and is not honoring trade credit.What can I do?
I shipped the trade in to T-Mobile, the tracking says it was delivered. I called them to ask about my trade in credit and they said they never received the phone. I provided them the tracking number and the email saying how much my trade in was approved for. They are now only offering me $80 from what was supposed to be $380. What are my options here? I’ve been a T-Mobile customer for a very long time with 6 lines and multiple new phones on payment plans.
Current month vs last month billing
I have read that T-mobile does current month billing. However, the T-mobile rep said the billing is post paid i.e. the bill is for a previous cycle. If that is the case, I have paid an extra month of service fees because my billing started as a current month bill. Can someone clarify? Thanks.

Add a second phone number to "Let's confirm it's you" verification
Can a second phone number choice be added to the t-mobile.com login verify? There are two people authorized full account access and there is only one number for “ Text a code to (***) ***-#### “ and most two factor verifications allow for multiple numbers.
Rude and un helpful customer service rep
I’m have been a loyal tmobile customer for 10 + years. Today was the first time in a long time that I contacted Customer service for help. The details of the request are private but the experience was very shocking. The rep did not let me file a complaint, would not let me talk to their supervisor, and hung up on me at the end of the call.I’m also upset that tmobile no longer allows for me to email them or have the ability to call their customer service dept in the US. I live near Seattle where the headquarters for tmobile in the US is located.It feel like there is a concerted effort on Tmobile’s part to not want customers to contact them in the US and use a 3rd party service to frustrate customers into giving up. Tmoble, please have a rep from the US contact me otherwise i’m cancelling my account
Is service ever going to improve?
I was a loyal sprint customer. Since t-mobile bought sprint, service has been awful. They said it would take a few years for all the towers to be functioning. They claim that all towers are functioning now, but I have even worse service. I have lost service in my house and on my street. I have SOS in most places. The coverage map says I should have 5g in the areas my phone displays SOS. T-mobile is still the cheapest since they kept my sprint price. Whenever t-mobile reaches out about my complaints, they tell me that the map says it should be working and there are no outages. That has not changed my terrible service. Does anyone have any information or inside knowledge about this? Any idea is the service will ever improve? At this point, I’m about to switch providers and pay $30 more per month. At least then I won’t be paying for nothing.

Wi-Fo on American Airlines
The other day I was on an American Airlines flight and was unable to find out how to connect to the free T-Mobile free Wi-Fi service. Does anyone have any advice as to why it didn't show up? I did see the Viasat app but not T-Mobile.I followed the 4 steps moted in the “How it Works” section -- “Look for the T-Mobile logo on the page and enter your phone number to verify eligibility and start using in-flight connection.” not there and I am a Magenta plan owner.
