I've been trying to buy the Galaxy S9 from T-Mobile since the day it was released. I've tried literally every single day on multiple devices and even through the app on my phone, my mom's phone, and my sister's. No matter what I do it always comes up with an "Oops we hit a snag" error and then sends me back to select the phone and payment options after it starts to load the final screen that let's me purchase it. I'm so annoyed at this point that I'm ready to switch to another carrier. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, have you found a solution for it? I've tried clearing my cache, I've tried incognito mode, I've (as I already stated) used several different devices with no luck.
Hi,On 7/8 - one of our numbers in the plan (iPhone 8) got added to a random text group made up of numbers not in the contact list! Today (7/9) an unknown number got added to our text group automatically (this was a nexus ) and one more phone in our plan (iphone) got added to another random text group!!What is happening? Are others experiencing this kind of random additions to unknown groups? I saw some folks reporting this issue on ATT and Verizon in late 2017. I called Tmobile support today - they denied any widespread issue and did not create a case for my issue !
Hello, Did anyone else have an issue today when they redeemed the Fuel Rewards with Shell only $0.05 was credited in lieu of the $.10 off? My Fiancé and I are confused for we confirmed we are at Gold Status and can’t get through to a Fuel Rewards Rep or a T-Mobile Rep (been on hold for almost an hour and a half (90 minutes).
I have seen several posts about VPNs not working with T-Mobile Home Internet. What is T-Mobile's plan to address this? I contacted my corporate IT department and they said it's not their VPN. All works fine on my old ATT home internet and Verizon Hotspot (work cell). Maybe I should drop T-Mobile Home Internet and go back to ATT.
switching towers/bands --Hello I just got my 5g router in the mail 2 days ago the first day was a complete bust i had 3 bars but the connection was horrible/non existent so i tried did some research and used the app looking for the best signals and everything moving this thing all over for hours-still 3 bars and i would think thats enough I literally could not even get it to load speedtest before or a webpage hardly no connecting to anything basically when its on this band/tower not even the web user interface it also only has a primary connection and no secondary the primary is b71 and the secondary is not connected. then i just left it alone and randomly tried it and it only had 2 bars this time-weak according to the app but it actually loaded a webpage then i managed to get 50mbps on a speedtest and watch some youtube on 4k! i was feeling good i looked at the web interface and noticed i was not on the same band anymore and the primary b66 and secondary n71 bands and then bam it swit
I have a Samsung S8. It working great and I loved my phone but in early Dec 2017, I stupidly did an update on the phone and since then my phone says I'm roaming and I am limited to roaming data. I habe sent my phone into Samsung 3 times. This last time they changed the mother board and is still says I'm roaming. I have contacted T mobile and was told that they would get back to me within 3 days and is been 2 weeks. I haven't try contacting T-Mobile again because my phone was with Samsung. I got it today and I'm still roaming. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've tried every recommendation in the book restarting the "T-Mobile" device, the mini. It will go through the entire process of adding the device and at the very end, after it's verified the connection, it suddenly says it can't connect to the network and fails the addition.
Ok I decided to see what an external antenna would do and wow.I got the kit from Waveform as it’s an ok price and reputable money back company. So I have an n41 tower 3 miles to the SW, a B66 .5 miles to the W, and a n71 2 miles to the NW.If I put the can in the NW window it get the B66 ok and never holds the n71 for long. If I put the can in the S window it just does not hold the n41 or the B66.So I have been living with the can in the NW window with the B66 and 75/25 average and solid for days on end slow and steady.I wanted the n41 tower as my test show it rock on my phone so I figured let’s see if an ext ant can do anything. So remember can in S window cannot get the B66 to the W and also n41 is to weak. Open up can, remove 3 and 4, snap on new leads, put can back together, hook up ext ant that is just outside window aimed right at the n41 tower. Time to rock great signal and 650/110 speeds. So not that bars matter but in the NW window B66 was 3 bars almost -100dBm with SNR of 10db so
Hello all. I'd like to know why my mobile hotspot speeds are so much slower than my regular data connection. I have the old $70 unlimited plan from several years ago, when T-Mobile first started changing things. I have 4G LTE data, and even the mobile hotspot add-on (according to my T-Mobile app) supposedly uses the LTE network and not some slower speed. However, it has been this way for a long time, not just recently. My download speeds when I test it on the phone itself, using the data connection, are decent. The one I just did was 12Mbps. But when I followed that up with a speed test on my PC, using the mobile hotspot, it was 1.33Mbps!Why is this? Does the T-Mobile hotspot throttle your data speeds automatically? I've only used 0.1 GB of my allotment, so I know I haven't gone over. This is pretty terrible. Please help! Thanks,John
Why won't Hulu Live work with T-Mobile Internet? Looking the question up online says: “T-Mobile Home Internet supports most video streaming services, like YouTube TV or Netflix. However, at the moment, Hulu + Live TV is not supported due to a technical requirement in delivering the service. We’re working closely with Hulu to resolve this as quickly as possible,” a T-Mobile spokesperson said in a statement. This is very unacceptable in today's market. With Hulu being a cloud supported application, it should take nothing to support the service. It's a simple data service that should be provided and supported. 5G is just a carrier, it's a link to internet services. Why is it, the service is not supported? I would like a deeper technical answer as to why such a simple thing is not 'supported'?
Hi,I can't access my T-Mobile account in the web. I can access no problem in the app. I tried Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I cleared history, cache, cookies with the same result. After I login, the page only display the footer…This has been happening for months. I was able to see the account a couple of weeks ago when I clear the cache. I tried the next day and even though I deleted everything (cache, cookies), I couldn't access it.This is a business account. Please help
Disclaimer: I am not an employee of T-Mobile or its affiliates. I have been a T-Mobile customer for 15+ years. However, given the recent news about T-Mobile US forcing an experimental medical procedure on its employees, I am seriously considering moving to another provider. Before I take any action, I think it's prudent open a dialog about the legality of their policy. T-Mobile and other companies that seek to undermine the rights of individuals under their employ would do well to review social CONTRACTS such as the Nuremberg Code, and the US Constitution and Bill of Rights. Specifically the Nuremberg Code which addresses the necessity of voluntary consent of experimental procedures. Companies that thumb their noses at these social contracts do so at their own peril. Karma is a b*tch as they say. I am a staunch believer in this. It wasn't that long ago (circa 1940s) that an organization subjugated a certain group of people to experimental procedures (amongst other things) without th
I signed up for the Home Internet and got an email that I was activated on 04/01/21... A few days later the cylinder device arrived and connected to the internet easily. Nevertheless, I cannot register to get a T-Mobile ID for this account. I cannot login online OR use the T-Mobile app because it keeps stating they don't recognize my email. I've had two lengthy phone calls with support and visited a store (whom in turn called support)... As of now I STILL can't create a T-Mobile ID to manage my account. (This account was created using my Pre-paid phone account...) At first I thought it didn't matter that I couldn't access my account since the service is working so-so... But at the end of the first month my service was cut off as the person who initiated my account did not ensure that I was signed up for autopay. I never received an email about my bill. When I called about my service they wanted me to pay the $65 + restoration fee + plus a fee for making a payment manually over the phon
My father lives in a small town in southern Arizona. With Sprint, we had really good service when we visited him. We switched to the T-mobile SIM cards a few months ago. Now when we visit him, the service is pretty bad. I thought with the merger that we would have access to both networks. How do I contact T-mobile to let them know their coverage sucks there?
Just set up my gateway… working fine for the most part, but it doesn’t appear in the list of available networks on my Windows 10 laptop. Phone, tablet, another laptop elsewhere in the house… the network shows up just fine on all those devices.Any idea what would cause this? TIA!
I recently log into my.t-mobile site and have to change my password due to this new policy. This new policy is terrible due to multiple reasons. Anyone who is current on IT security should know that changing your new secured/selected password to something new randomly causes more trouble than its worth. User can't remember these new things every 60 days if you create a secure combination for your password.I don't log in to t-mobile every day to see/change things. If you cannot secure my password in the first place, it's not our faults. Don't force us to change ours to cover your problem.
I have the unlimited TMobile ISP internet modem, and it works ok, but it has limitations that I can solve by using a different modem. The TMobile ISP box does NOT have a bridge mode and it does NOT have external ports for external antennas. For those of us in rural areas this means we get maybe 1 bar of service. The NO bridge mode means I either intend to let the TMobile modem be a router as well as a modem, and I don’t like this idea for several reasons: 1) The firewall sucks. 2) no masquerade 3) No detail configurable firewall with subnets, 4) No embedded GPS for location & 5) the 2.4 & 5 Mhz Wifi is not powerful enough to reach the far corners of the home and those emitters interfere with the cellular signal at 1 bar, making upload speeds suck for a Plex server. So I prefer my Mikrotik router, and my Mikrotik AP’s stanmding alone on the network - which means I need the TMobile ISP modem to be in bridge mode, (but they don’t have a bridge mode) or I’ll encounter a double

I had sent my old device iPhone 6 Plus to Tmobile for a trade in credit. The tracking # showed Tmobile warehouse already received it but no credit was issued. I have been contacted customer service so many times and they said they didn't receive the phone even though UPS has proof of delivery. I lost my phone by trusting Tmobile.
