We just upgraded our 4 iPhones with the On Us with Apple AirPods promotion with rebates. We are already regretting it.First the promotion credits to your account are spread over 30 months. That’s 30 months that you are now locked into T-Mobile.Second the promotion / rebate site DOES NOT WORK. When I contacted T-Mobile they sounded surprised that I was having an issue. Search the forums and you will see that this has been an issue for a lot of customers. This is a bait and switch tactic. I regret upgrading with T-Mobile. We should have just moved to Verizon.Since T-Mobile customer service monitors this forum, I want the rebates for the AirPods and iPhone trade ins taken care of immediately or I will report this to the BBB. This is clearly a known issue that T-Mobile has failed to address.
I am experiencing my WIFI Calling Preferences always being forced to “cellular preferred”, as are others. I live in an area with poor T-mobile mobile data signal and this recent behavior makes my phone unable to make and receive calls and text messages. I believe the problem only started happening after the next to last T-Mobile software update. Everything was fine for my first 5 months of ownership. A Google search shows posts of other users experiencing the same issue, but no options other than a tedious workaround of manually switching the phone to Airplane mode and changing the WIFI calling preferences back to “WIFI preferred”. I have to do this kind of process each time I enter and leave my home, and sometimes have to reboot my phone as well. The times I’ve forgotten, I’ve missed package deliveries and went to a doctor appointment when the doctor had left a message that he was out sick. This appears to be a carrier specific issue as far as I can see. I even tried repla
Ever since the merger with sprint, t mobile has been absolute trash. Even after the new sim card its crap. Who ever thought it was a good idea to merge with sprint needs to get fired. Worst thing that has happened. And my job is dependant on having mobile data and if t mobile cant have their shit together then im gonna have to switch.
I work for a local fire department, which uses the email@example.com gateway to alert members of the fire department with (T-Mobile service) of emergencies/disasters. We use similar gateways from other carriers for those respective members, and they are without issue at this time. This system from T-Mobile has worked flawlessly for the last 2 years, until recently, which we are now getting bounced by the server and getting the mail messages kicked back with the following error (X's represent the member's phone number):mx197.us-east-2b.ess.aws.cudaops.com gave this error:permanent failure for one or more recipients (XXXXXXXXXX@tmomail.net:blocked) i've tried sending messages individually, and even sending out messages as MMS, and I'm still getting bounce backs.I see "srickar" on this site answering questions, as the spam admin for tmomail.net, and I was wondering if they'd be able to point me in the right direction. Not only am I the one handling this issue... I'm also a T-Mobile
So, here's the deal. I recently just joined T-Mobile as of... two days ago, I believe, and I purchased a phone. They didn't have the phone I wanted in stock, so I asked if there was a way to order it online and have it shipped it to the store-- so we did that. Everything's great and dandy, but since I don't have the new phone, I'm still technically on MetroPCS' service. I don't really have a problem with that-- I'll just use my old phone until I get the new one. That's not the issue. The issue is, I've been trying to track my phone so I know when it comes into the store, and I can't do that. The link in the email sent to me confirming my purchase is broken, and I can't track it through the app. Because in order to track my phone, I need a valid T-Mobile number. That's ridiculous. I tried calling customer support, and told them I just simply wanted to know when my phone was coming, and I was bounced around. I was put on hold four different times before I just ended up giving up, and the
hey! I just got the service and the download and upload speed are working great.unfortunately, I'm not about to game anymore because of the latency / ping. the ping on my speed test usually reads about 50-60ms but once I'm in game it’s around 120 and has a lot of lag. I was wondering if there’s any way to reduce lag / latency? maybe connecting a high-speed gaming router? is that possible? does a 5ghz network help? thank you so much for any help!!!!
Why won't Hulu Live work with T-Mobile Internet? Looking the question up online says: “T-Mobile Home Internet supports most video streaming services, like YouTube TV or Netflix. However, at the moment, Hulu + Live TV is not supported due to a technical requirement in delivering the service. We’re working closely with Hulu to resolve this as quickly as possible,” a T-Mobile spokesperson said in a statement. This is very unacceptable in today's market. With Hulu being a cloud supported application, it should take nothing to support the service. It's a simple data service that should be provided and supported. 5G is just a carrier, it's a link to internet services. Why is it, the service is not supported? I would like a deeper technical answer as to why such a simple thing is not 'supported'?
Whenever I receive a call from a number that is not saved in my contacts, the Caller ID shows it incorrectly. It appears as if it's adding a country code that is not correct, or just breaking the number apart incorrectly and showing it coming in from a different country all together. This has only been going on for about a week. The numbers below are in fact US numbers, if you look at the one labeled peru, it should be (513)-393-2193 - I dont know where the extra 6 is coming from. The Argentina number, is actually 877 -698-3261. Again, no idea where the +54 is coming from and the Croatia number is 385 428 1000 - no extra numbers there, it just formatted it incorrectly. Is anyone else having this problem? I've hard reset the phone numerous times, no fix
So, before I had established an account with t-mobile, a representative from t-mobile specifically told me that the credit check would be a SOFT PULL and NOT a HARD PULL. So i agreed to have them pull my credit since it was only going to be a SOFT PULL. After all was said and done, four days later i check my credit and BAAAM! It's a friggin HARD INQUIRY that showed up on my credit. Called t-mobile's credit department told them a t-mobile representative specifically told me it was going to be a SOFT INQUIRY and they told me that it's definitely going to be a HARD INQUIRY, according to their policy. To resolve this issue they told me to contact Transunion to dispute the inquiry. Transunion told me to call t-mobile. So i call t-mobile to see if they can provide me a document/policy that SPECIFICALLY SAYS IT WILL BE A HARD PULL/INQUIRY that shows up on your credit. I was then transferred about 600 different times to 600 different departments in t-mobile and NOT ONE can provide me a policy/
Hi,I’m very confused about the international rates when making a WiFi call to a number overseas on a T-Mobile One plan. According to the support page, which I have read a thousand times, wifi calls are billed at 0.20$ per minute to most countries. But I’ve been now billed over $200 (over 3.00$ per minute) for one call to a Netherlands mobile and a second call to a Switzerland landline. How is this possible? If the policy on the website is incorrect, it should be fixed. I would also ask to be reimbursed for these two calls as the policy was misleading (I would have called from another phone had I not already read the policy and been assured the rate would be 0.20$ per minute.text and link below: lIf you have a T-Mobile ONE or Simple Choice rate plan:From any Simple Global country to any other country are $0.20/min (same as cellular). From non-Simple Global countries to other countries are charged at World Class rates.Wi-Fi CallingHow do I get this resolved? The customer care people I’ve sp
I recently signed up for T-Mobile internet, and I am VERY disappointed that I could not even forward NAT traffic to my home security system. I saw that this was discussed 7 months ago in a previous thread, and hope the developers will notice this. The speed is great, and the same as was advertised in the chat.I would like this issue to be resolved so that I don’t need to continue with Optimum (Morris Broadband).
I just got this and once or twice I got 50mbps for a minute or two but the rest of the time 1-3mbps download and 15mbps upload.Cant figure this out and not many settings to change. Been on hold for customer support for an hour yesterday and today and can't get through.. any ideas? Thank you
I got my new iphone 7 with the iphone trade up promo (I traded in iphone 6s) that I can receive bill credit for 24 months to eventually bring down my phone cost to 0. But I am wondering if I pay the EIP balance off early now while still keeping that line active, will it stop me from receiving bill credits for the remaining 22 billing cycles? Or I will still receive the remaining 22 months bill credit? Thanks for answering
