So I've been having this issue where I can't receive verification codes via text from sites like Amazon and Discover but I receive them phone from others. Is this a problem on tmobiles side? I've been talking with Amazon customer service to fix the problem considering I can't use many of the smart home device features but it hasn't gotten anywhere... -_-
I use a Galaxy A11 and twice today a message from Carrier Hub “MCM client requests are processing:….possible issue with T Mobile network upgrade going on or some other network issue? Phone is a bit off with texts being delayed but no major issues yetPlease advise
Greetings,For the past few months I have been trying to resolve this issue with my T-Mobile service:1. Phone shows 3-4 bars of LTE, but the internet won't work2. My co-workers with T-Mobile are not experiencing any issues and they sit right next to me.3. When I'm with my spouse, their phone will work fine and mine won't4. I have tried turning WiFi off, resetting network settings, using a different phone - nothing resolves the issue5. I have called T-Mobile multiple times about the issue and the technician just tells me to reset my network settings or they send a device reset signal to my phone and it starts working again, but only temporarily6. I've ruled out the device and location at this point, so what else is their to test?7. Sometimes when I make calls, the device can't hang up and my phone locks up. This has happened on 2 separate devices. I have to do a force shutdown/restart.Device: iPhone XR, updated to the latest version of iOS.A side note: Why do I have to reset m
Hi all,Been having this problem for a while and I feel like I've tried everything on my end-- my phone just won't receive verification codes from a number of websites I have accounts with, and I've checked my content blocking settings (which are off) numerous times. Some texts are received, but many are not. What can I do to fix this? Is there a way I can whitelist certain websites to ensure I receive their communications? Thanks!
A few months ago it came to my attention that I was not receiving certain messages from what seemed like a single person (they showed me their phone proving they in fact had sent me these messages). Then it happened with another friend. Both these individuals have iPhones and are on T-Mobile. I'm an Android user.It is seemingly completely random, sometimes even in the middle of a conversation, selective texts sent seconds or minutes apart will not come through. So far I have tried:Changing to the stock texting app (I normally use Mood)Clearing the text app cacheuninstalling and reinstalling Moodchanging the SIMT-Mobile advised me to do some kind of reset (which all it did was make me have to put in all my WiFi passwords again)full factory resetConfirmed APN settingsBought another damn phone.Annoying that I could never figure out wth was happening, but no matter, it seemed like things were working. Well, the problem has returned, and it's very difficult to troubleshoot or know when it's
Hello all. I'd like to know why my mobile hotspot speeds are so much slower than my regular data connection. I have the old $70 unlimited plan from several years ago, when T-Mobile first started changing things. I have 4G LTE data, and even the mobile hotspot add-on (according to my T-Mobile app) supposedly uses the LTE network and not some slower speed. However, it has been this way for a long time, not just recently. My download speeds when I test it on the phone itself, using the data connection, are decent. The one I just did was 12Mbps. But when I followed that up with a speed test on my PC, using the mobile hotspot, it was 1.33Mbps!Why is this? Does the T-Mobile hotspot throttle your data speeds automatically? I've only used 0.1 GB of my allotment, so I know I haven't gone over. This is pretty terrible. Please help! Thanks,John
Unless I’m reading it wrong or interpreting T-Mobile’s document wrong, I don’t think the trade-in policy disqualifies back glass crack.I’m talking about this T-Mobile support documenthttps://www.t-mobile.com/support/devices/device-troubleshooting/check-the-condition-of-a-device Checking your device conditionThere are four main things to check on your device. Here's a bunch of dumb questions. Are One Plus and Magenta Plus the same plan but rebranded under a new name or are there specific features to be implemented or discontinued in Magenta Plus? If they are different, will One Plus customers be given an opportunity to either opt out or opt into the Magenta Plus or will we just be transitioned at some point?
So, I have taken advantage of $500 off for Galaxy S20 FE with Trade-In. I have the new phone with me. However, I literally can’t find Trade-In Label or Instructions anywhere on my account. Can someone please help me out in this regard? Also, I did return an unopened OnePlus 8 back to T-Mobile and it was received on Monday. How many days would it take before my account is updated and the device is removed from EIP status?
Whenever I attempt to make a phone call to contacts or any random number I get a instant notification from T-Mobile saying thatYou are not able to make calls at this time. always allowed numbers can be reached .What fresh heck is this?Oddly enough I can call T-Mobile and the other line on my account works fine and I can text with no problem both on Wi-Fi and LTE so it seems Wi-Fi calling does nothing to help or hinder. Network settings have not changed.
Hey everyone -So Google is trying to verify my account, but when they send me a text, I see an auto response with "Service access denied". The text is from the number 244444. I don't have content blocking as far as I can tell. Anyone know what might be causing this? Thanks!Josh
This isn't as clearly documented as it probably should be. I have a Netflix account. I have an eligible T-Mobile plan for "Netflix on Us". What is the entire process, soup to nuts, on 1) enabling this feature on T-Mobile, and 2) updating my existing Netflix account to that I get the $8.99 credit from T-Mobile, per month. Many thanks for any accurate, detailed information!
