Account/Insider Hookup Code Verification

I switched from AT&T and the salesman said he gave me a hookup code for 20% off.  I realize it takes a couple billing cycles to show up on my bill, but how do I verify that it is actually applied to my account?  I don’t want to jut take the salesman’s word for it. 


I went to the T-Mobile Insider webpage and entered my phone number and zip under the Check Status page and it says “There are no submissions based on your search criteria”.


I called support and they weren’t much help.
