Another possible fraud alert

I just received a text stating:

primary number has been updated to ********** (voided out to protect my phone number)and that number will begin receiving all account notifications, This number will no longer receive account notifications but will continue to receive other notifications from T mobile. If unauthorized please call 1-800-937-8997 or dial 611 from a T mobile phone. I do not have a T mobile account and the number matches the one given in this thread: Fraud?

According to the other thread you reference it sounds like a scam so if the number from that thread is the same number that called you then it may be a scam.

We can take a look at the account to see if any system generate messages were sent out. Please give us a call when you have a moment so we can check it out.
