I have 5 lines on the old Simple Choice North America 6Mb Family Match plan.
Any advice on staying with this vs moving to a newer Magenta type plan? Sometimes older tate plans have better things like less soft data caps.
ITS OFFICIAL you do NOT have to change plans its on the TMOBILE site stating sprint customers DO NOT have to change there Plans
But why would I want to stay with an old rate plan? What are the disadvantages of switching?

The major disadvantage is losing a cheaper rate plan.
The pluses is unlimited everything, the option of Netflix being available and all the travel perks.
Well I DONT have any disadvantages with the plan I have.
I have all the perks of todays plans with UNLIMITED everything ,UNLIMITED Wifi Hotspot @ 5G-15gig/ Then slows to 4G
Multi country calls free /Multi Line compatible/ Unlimited Talk-Text-Data .
And at $30.00 month total ( WOULD you want to loose this plan )

It boils down to usage and which plan you have. It’s not cut or dry moving away from your plan. Once you move away from it you can’t move back to it. So you have to weigh your usage and what the plan offers you.
