Hi,

 

I lost my job in US and therefore had to leave the country so I need to cancel my US line. I would like to keep the phone and have it unlooked so I can use an International SIM card.

You will need to contact Customer Care for these requests.  There are requirements for device unlocking.  Whether or not they have been met or can be waive, Customer Care will have to make that decision.  You can find the SIM Unlock requirements at the link below.
