I have shipped out my broken device, once i recieved my new device for a claim and i am aware about having it returned within 10 days, but i yet havent been able to track my device and im not sure if martin luther king jr holiday could affect the process. Will I still be charged

As long as you retain proof of the receipt where you dropped off your package at USPS you should be fine. The tracking information will have the correct date on there even if holiday and weather affect the packages progress.
