Can I download my contacts to csv file

I do believe you can! Depending on if you’re using an Android or Apple the process will be different. 


For Android: Back up your contacts to Google if you haven’t already, then go to On the left column, you’ll see Export.  This will appear:

Select the type of file you wish to have, then click Export.


If you’re on an Apple, you’d go to Settings>Tap your Apple ID at the Top>iCloud>Contacts; make sure your sync is turned on (the switch should be green) to back up your contacts to the cloud.  Then sign in to and choose Contacts.  Press the Settings icon in the lower right hand side of the screen (the one that looks like a little gear) :

Click “Select All”, click the Settings icon again, then select “Export”.  Your system will automatically download the vCard file, then you will need to convert it to CSV.

I know that there are apps in the App Store that would allow you to convert a vCard file to CSV but I can’t personally recommend any. Just do a search and look for one without ads and has a high rating.
