Email to text message not working

I'm trying to use Microsoft Outlook to send an email that is received as a text message. Here's the error message this I receive:

The following message to <XXXXXXXXXX@tmomail.net> was undeliverable.

The reason for the problem:

5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 550-'permanent failure for one or more recipients (XXXXXXXXXX@tmomail.net:blocked)'

This works fine sending to ATT or Verizon phones but not T-Mobile. I've tried with both my main number and a Digits line with the same error message.

Any ideas?

Hey there!  Now, there does exist a @tmomail.net messaging block so I would definitely reach out to your team of experts by dialing 611 or hitting the "message t-mobile" link on this page to see if you have the block on your line.  Alternatively, you can reach out to T-Force via Twitter or Facebook.

I agree with the suggestion above. This may need to be escalated to a trouble ticket. Have you given our Tech folks or T-Force team a chance to help with this?

I am having this exact issue. The error message is:

The reason for the problem:

  1. 5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 550-'permanent failure for one or more recipients (xxxxxxxxxx@tmomail.net:554 rejecting banned content)'

My company is sending simple text only updates out of Outlook to text.
