So I have Jump on Demand for an iPhone 6S Plus paying $30/month for the lease. A friend sold me their Samsung S7 Edge for a decent price, it's not blacklisted or anything so I've activated it and been using it on T-Mobile. I'd like to cancel the lease for the iPhone 6S Plus and would like to know my options. I'm pretty sure that I need to pay off the rest of the lease in order to cancel, is this correct? Would I then own the phone or would I need to turn it into T-Mobile?
When I view my lease details it says the sum of the remaining payments is $210. Is this what I would need to pay in order to own the phone and then resell it to someone else? I'm just trying to save money on my bill and by removing this lease, even if I end up paying the $210, which I don't have a problem with since I signed the agreement, this would help a lot in the long run.

Yes and no.
If you pay off the lease you return the phone. If you pay the lease and the 6months that isn't factored into the lease amount then you keep the phone.
