I recently switched to T Mobile after being a Verizon Wireless customer for 20+ years. I thought I was saving $35 a month! I work from home and rely on good service. On a daily basis, I drop at least 4-5 calls or can’t pick up an incoming call or make an outgoing. I will be switching back to Verizon in the next few days.
After paying all the lease payments for my iPhone, I wanted to pay the $100 cost and purchase it and was told by the online chat that that is illegal in NJ and a few other states. Has this happened to anybody else? It doesn’t make any sense at all--and it is not what I understood when I took the upgrade.
After being on hold and dealing with about 7 different people while trying to transfer my account to my son’s name, repeating every step at least 5-6 times with each new person, TMOBILE hung up on us. The elapse time was about 90+ minutes. Incredibility frustrating. And their on hold music absolutely SUCKS and is horrible. Now we have no idea where we are with TMOBILE and what state my account is in. Frustrating. Absolutely horrible customer service.
I want to get a new line and a new phone on my account for someone who does not live in my area. When I was going through the steps of buying the new phone and adding service to it, it specifically mentioned my state for taxes. Where in the process can I choose a phone number in a different state? Getting another phone with a number in my state is not acceptable for my purpose.
Setting Up account on the website. The website is almost always failed. It asks to link the mobile phone. When number entered it does not send the “confirmation code” It wont allow you to do anything until confirmation code entered. 4. Phone works as I sent and recieved messages, and number entered correctly.Trash garbage service. Pathetic website. Total waste of money. Anyone reading, USE ANOTHER COMPANY
When going to a local store to add a new line to my account. I was helped by a young man, his name is Gabriel Diaz. While assiting me he was given my debit card, and my drivers license. Before I left the store I was told the only charges would be $14.99 and it would be billed to my account. Two days later I became a victim of theft at the hands of Gabriel Diaz. I had $250 taken out of my personal bank account. Two wire transfer money orders were personally wired to Gabriel Diaz. I have talked to T Mobile about this incident. I have recently found out that Gabriel Diaz continues to work for your company at the location I visited. It leads me to wonder how many people have been victimized by Gabriel Diaz and have gone undetected. I wonder why no action has been taken against him.. I have solid proof from my financial institution.
I contacted T-Mobile prior to departing the US for a lengthy stay in Europe. I wanted to ensure that my phone was unlocked so that I could use an Italian SIM card while visiting my family there. The agent with whom I spoke found it difficult to verify whether the phone was actually unlocked. She informed me that I would, in any event, be able to get some limited access to the internet while overseas and that she would do follow-up to ensure that the phone was unlocked (I have been a Sprint/T-mobile customer for many years and my prior phone had been unlocked; I wanted to ensure that the new Revvl phone supplied by T-Mobile was also unlocked). When I arrived in Europe, I was able to access the internet. However, shortly after arriving I received notification that my auto-pay was set to pay a bill that was significantly higher than usual. My previous bills had been for $90 a month; this was for $150 circa. I have since received a second bill at the higher rate. I have now discove
I cannot receive SMS messages from friends who use MVNO service providers (Mint, Tello, USMobile). I have gotten the most ridiculous replies from engineering regarding this issue. Upon further testing I found that if the MVNO phone sends an SMS to the phantom phone number associated with my digits SIM it goes through, however, if a customer of another cell provider send an SMS to that phantom number it does not go through. It seems the SMS messages coming from the MVNOs are not entering the digits system.I found the following 5 year old post at: https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/comments/5mzq1v/digits_beta_breaking_inbound_mvno_sms/which makes it seem that this is a really old issue. Is there a solution?I reported this issue to DIGITS advanced technical support and it's been relayed across to engineers. However, I'm curious to know if any other beta testers are hitting the issue.Scenario: I'm on T-Mobile Postpaid with 3 lines associated with DIGITS and my gf's line that isn't. My frie
I know this has been asked multiple times. Searched this forum, but cannot found an answer working for my scenario. I am a new t-mobile home internet user (and do not have a t-mobile phone line, either post-paid or pre-paid). When I tried to login to my t-mobile account to manage payments, I was asked to “Link your phone number to your My T-Mobile account: Enter the phone number below to link to your account, and we'll send a confirmation code for verification.”. After typing the 10-digit phone number coming with my home internet, I got the error “F451 Uh-oh, it looks like we have our wires crossed. Please try again later.”
Hello all. I just upgraded from a note 10 to an s22 ultra. I regularly use the tmobile tuesday fuel rewards offer and it always worked great on my old phone. I am wondering if there is some problem with my new phone as when I try to open the fuel rewards app it just shows the full screen logo but doesn't go any further and open the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and restarted the phone and no improvement. I am curious if anyone else is running into this problem or if it is something I am doing. Thanks in advance.
When I called to switch to T Mobile from AT&T, I spent a long time on the phone with an “expert” who told me that my monthly bill would be around $180 month including insurance on 3 lines on the Magenta 55 plan. They did not put insurance on two of the phones, so I had to call to have that added. My monthly bill is now going to be around $285 per month which isn’t much less than I was paying AT&T. T-Mobile did not accept the old phones from AT&T because they are not paid off at AT&T and are locked. This was not explained to me when I made the order for the new service. I feel as if I was completely misled by T Mobile and now I have to pay off the phones from AT&T and make installments on the new phones. I am receiving some credit for the AT&T phones, but this was completely misleading and I regret making the switch. I should have just stayed with AT&T and upgraded my phone. T Mobile pulled a whopping bait and switch with me. I am not very happy about this at
Ridiculous to think that T-Mobile will shut me out of my online account as soon as I port my number to another carrier and I cannot go into said account and cancel and remove billing info. It is just another reason I`m glad I left. It seems they can continue charging me on an account that they no longer own the number too, I am not using through them, and they block you from cancelling. Total, utter, stupid business practice.Good luck T-Mobile, you will never make it!
I’m on a trade in promotion for two phones, but every month they add a charge for one of my phones. I’ve been overcharged every month for the last 4-5 months and every month I call in to get the credit. I’m given the credit every month, and told that it shouldn’t happen again, yet every month the extra charge comes through. I shouldn’t have to call in every month to get this resolved, but nobody seems to be able to make this update a permanent one. Any ideas on who to contact or how to get this fixed?
I transferred my number from google voice to T Mobile, sharing my experience to help others.Setup google voice mail pinAsked T Mobile rep to port my google voice number over my existing t mobile number by giving phone number as account number and voice mail pin as pin number Number ported over successfully in 15 minutes, message received from t Mobile and google voice that number has been successfully ported.BUT THERE IS A PROBLEMPorted number from google voice not working (if you call it says subscriber you are dialing is not active. Old t Mobile number still active.Noticed in my t Mobile app, my line is deleted while others are active.Called two times and reps said to call after 24 hrs, standard answer.Same issue after 24 hrs, talked to 4 representatives and they tried everything, rebroadcasting, channging phone in Apple ID, apple rep was involved etc etcBegged last rep to see why line was not active on my account. She did something and it worked . Phone was disconnected while she w
So I changed my prepaid account to post-paid T-mobile service since last year August as I had to leave from USA to overseas for a month and needed an international service. First the representatives mislead me that I will be charged one time pay for out of country service only to come back to USA and charged much more than I was told. Also I wanted to transfer the same phone number to post paid which they said will only take few hours. It didn’t happen and my flight is in few hours, I keep calling them and they say it will happen within 24hrs. By the time I get to the other country I still don’t have service. I spend weeks calling them to update my phone number. When I come back to USA, they have charged me for all the times I have called them saying since I was calling USA T-Mobile service number so I am being charged and how I should’ve called international t-mobile service number. We had an argument for all of their misleading information first about international charge and then no
I just signed up for a new tmobile account, magenta max 55+ plan, a few days ago with the promotional total discount of $800 for a new Samsung S22 ultra. My dad is cancelling his tmobile account and I would like to use one of his phone number, like port and replace my existing new phone number without affecting my $800 promotional discount.
When not logged into T-Mobile’s website, it shows that the Essentials plan is $27/mo, which is the exact plan that I have, yet, my bill comes out to over twice that amount. My phone is fully paid off as of March where my bill was over $90, then it dropped to $64-something once it was paid off. I tried to speak directly with T-Mobile about this since most big companies have a virtual assistant on their website for ease-of-access but apparently T-Mobile does not.Attached is a photo on T-Mobile’s website showing that the Essentials plan is $27/mo, and a photo showing what I’m being charged for it.
My 2nd line has incoming texts listed in the usage overview that show up almost every other day for over two years. The person who has the line says they have never received any texts from these numbers. They are always incoming texts, usually grouped within ten minutes of each other and come from numbers with strange area codes. Is it possible for this many texts over such a long period of time to not be delivered, even though the person is getting all of their other messages normally? The numbers are as follows:(959) 800-0301 Thomaston, CT (507) 748-0008 Fulda, MN
