I recently switch to T-Mobile and I purchased a new phone and a sim card, was told to call customer service to activate my phone or line but ask for my SSN once I told them they said the account that they have under my name the one I opened when I switch has my SSN wrong. All my information is right address,name but SSN is incorrect
I recently went to your store and I was told I would be able to trade my Iphone 8 Plus and I would get a credit of $400 and I would not have to put down a payment . I went home and got my phone that is in perfect condition after going thru the entire process of putting in a order for Iphone 13 Pro Max then customer service said I had to pay $400 up front and I would only get $82 credit for my Iphone 8Plus .. So basically unless Im adding a line /new cs you dont have ANY PROMOTIONS for CUrrent cs , that is not right !!! Since you update your network my service has been HORRIBLE!!! my acc is a magenta acc which obviously mean I have not migrated like many cs because WE CANT GET A PHONE FROM TMOBILE > this BS !!!! Im leaving if I cant get a phone and will be reporting you to BBB . And go to a provider that takes care of not just there new customers but also CURRENT CUSTOMERS
I recently traded in three IPhones for upgrade. I put each phone in three different boxes with receipt for each phone and put all three boxes into a single box and shipped it to the address on the printed label with Assurant. Today I was told by T-Mobile rep that each phone should have been shipped separately. Would Assurant be able to properly locate my phones and credit to my account?Thanks
I am writing on Nov 24, 2021. We ordered 2 iphone pros as upgrades with trade ins back in mid-Aug (2021) and have had the fight of our life trying to get these phones, and still have not received one of them. After first being told that we were eligible for two trade ins, we were then told that only one phone would be eligible and we would have to upgrade our plan to Magenta to qualify for the second, so we did, which increased our monthly cost. And, the new plan upgrade crashed our Netflix, which wouldn’t allow us to log in until a service rep fixed it. Next, they promised us that one phone would ship right away and the other was backordered and would ship in about a week. Neither phone shipped. I called and was assured that the one phone was in the warehouse and would ship next day. I called when it didn’t ship and found out that they don’t ship phones separately and we would have to wait till the backordered phone came in. On Sept 6th, I wanted to add a new line to my account for a family member. I tried to add it online, but T-mobile forced me to call them. Over the phone, the sales rep. told me that there is an offer for an iPhone Pro Max whose cost is about 1100, but will only cost around 360$ due to a promotion. I was not looking to buy a phone, but given the offer, I decided why not. The sales rep. confirmed the order with me, verbally at least two times. A month later, I am being charged the full 1100$ for the device (an iPhone 12 Pro Max). I call back t-mobile, but they say, there was no promotion running at the time, so there isn’t anything they can do about it. Except for a 50$ credit!Of course, the electronic documents online show that I signed up to pay 1100$. I am not sure what happened here. May be, I did not read it carefully during the 5 minutes I was on the phone with the rep. Or May be, I trusted the words of a t-mobile sales rep, who verbally confirmed the order at least
Hi there, I like to transfer my physical sim for my prepaid plan to a prepaid esim. To use the dual sim on my iPhone. (The one slot for the physical sim is taken.) Needless to say that I need to keep my existing number, my (old) plan – and my balance!. I need to find another broadband provider after 10 years.You had another data breach in august. So backstory, I called an expert to have them add the $15 stateside international add-on to my existing $20 unlimited talk & text line. After they did this my phone stopped working (kept getting an error message when making outbound calls) so I called back and they told me my plan will not accept add-ons. They tried to upsell me at this point so I just had them remove the add-on.Now I’m looking at my account and I see that I can self add the stateside international option -- what gives? If this option is truly incompatible why is it showing up under my account as a legitimate add-on? Did the expert do it incorrectly? I’m worried about adding this on myself and messing up my current plan again so I’d like some community feedback before I go ahead and try.
I spoke to a rep in one of those "recorded" calls . Ended T-Mobile service on the 29th. Activated a new carrier the 30th. Send phone, watch, and never opened internet thingy back... Still getting billed. Seems to be a recurring problem with t- mobile.... I know I'm not the only one....

I tried to open a prepaid account online, thought everything worked, was charged $25 (1st month and sim card). Once my sim card arrived I called to activate, and tmobile rep had no idea what my account was. She took my info, and charged me another $15 saying it would be credited to 2nd month. She said number would port. I got a text an hour later saying issue with port, so…I went into Tmobile store. Rep could not find either accounts and could not use the sim card that I was mailed. She charged me $15 + $10 for another card. This worked and I now have an account. However, it has been a week and those $30 worth of payments have not been credited to my account. Additionally, I called tmobile to see why, and they can’t find evidence of my payments to (other accounts?) to apply to the one that was successful. I could provide full confirmed transaction info from my ccard company, but rep refused saying they needed and order number or account number. Neither of those were given vi
It seems when switching to Magneta Max plan, it nullifies the corporate discount...is that true? I can't find information from about it...seems the web pages about corporate discount program and the list of eligible companies are either gone or deeply buried somewhere. anybody know? Thanks.
I’m having a similar problem. T-mobile really loves to give you the work around and they will try to sneak charges in at any chance. We had sprint for almost 20 years and never got treated like this. T mobile sent us several messages about free phone offers due to the forced 5g network requirements. One of them guaranteed a free phone up to a certain price with no fees, no taxes, no trade in or contracts. I talked to one person and then her manager. He told me that we could work it out, but I had to go to the local store and have them verify the message. he would have her call me back in one hour. Well an hour and a half later I got tired of waiting and got ahold of another person. I ended up staying at the store for three more hours before the next string of people told me that I had no reason to be there. This string consisted of the usual service person who sent me to their manager before he’d approve the deal. He’d give me back to the regular person who would claim to put notes dow
I have been waiting for a callback for over 3 hours, now. i cannot get any response through Twitter DMs, Messenger, or Text. The App consistently crashes, as does the website. I had a trade-in of my iphone 11 pro (on Verizon), for a 13 Pro Max. Good deal, reasonable rates. Had to unlock credit report, unlock spam filter on phone, give them my SS# Driver license#, and CC# - then suddenly, their “verification team” had some issue with my info and the whole deal was off and I was told I couldn’t do ANY deal online. I’d have to go to a store or do it by phone. Well, obviously the phone is also not an option, so I went to the store, taking a printout of the deal offered to me online. Hi. I went in today and upgraded to the Iphone 13 Pro. It won’t be in for about 2 weeks according to the worker, but he never mentioned the promo going on that ended the 29th (today for me). Am I just SOL on that now that it’s technically over or will I get it when I go pick up my phone?
