Coverage issues at 4th & Pike, downtown Seattle?

4th & Pike St in downtown Seattle has been a nightmare for coverage.During the day I’m lucky to get 1-2 Mbps and when rush hour hits around 4-5 it drops to 0-0.5 Mbps.There are often times when there’s no connection even though I have full bars. I’ve tried different phones with the same result.This has been going on for months now and it happens whether I’m on street level outside or at the window of the top floor of our building.Ironically there are cell towers at the top of the building that I can see, but I don’t know if they are T-Mobile towers.Anyone nearby see the same problems?

If I am using a Mobile Hotspot Device with a T-mobile SIM card obtained in the US and travel overseas will I still be able to retain my US IP address? If not how can I retain a US IP address on my Mobile Hotspot device overseas?

Fail to access T-Mobile app (iOS)

Hi,I currently ported in T-Mobile with a Simply Prepaid Plan ($40).When I tried to access the T-Mobile app, it showed"Sorry we're not ready for you yet. We're working on improving your app experience."I had already tried to unload and reinstall the app several times, but still in vain.I wonder is this usually happened to people just ported in T-Mobile?If anyone had this problem before can provide me solutions, thank you.

Account problems since porting from legacy to Rebellion prepaid

Since porting from legacy to Rebellion prepaid over a week ago I am unable to:Send or receive short code texts (account verification, shopping banking, etc.) that had always worked prior to porting.Enroll anywhere on T-Mobile that requires I enter my phone number. I get , "Please verify your 10 digit T-Mobile phone number is correct."I have engaged customer support and though they've been very nice, they've not been very helpful. I only get answers like "A ticket's been logged" with no way to follow up on it or, "Wait 'x' number of hours", none of which has worked.I have engaged T-Force via Twitter and though they've been extremely responsive, the end result has been no different than what I've received via customer support.I even tried getting some help at the T-mo store and though they couldn't figure out the problem, they did eliminate it being related to my phone or apps by placing my sim in another store phone and getting the same results when attempting to get a confirmation code

Why do the No Credit Check plans not allow Autopay?

I received the following text prior to my first bill: "Your T-Mobile bill is being processed. Payment is due 3 days after bill receipt. See how to read your bill: t-mobile.com/payment/scnc"So a couple things... that link redirects to the tmobile.com homepage, so I have no idea what info is supposed to be available there. Second, I spoke with a rep (and saw through my online account) that if I did not pay my bill within 3 days, my service would be suspended. However, all the Autopay links online do not work and the reps told me that my plan is not eligible for Autopay. How is it that T-Mobile will not allow No Credit Check customers to use auto-pay and will suspend service if a bill isn't paid within 3 days of being issued? That is a tight window, especially without an autopay option. I can't see why any vendor wouldn't provide autopay options.FWIW, I am on a No Credit Check plan because I prefer the price and not paying for services I don't need. I have 800+ credit score and buy phone

Huawei p30 lite no service.

I bought a Huawei p30 lite and a T-Mobile sim card. I set up the sim and made an account. once I got to placing the order I placed it and got the message that it may take up to 2 hours for service to start. Still got no service a day later. on my pc the account is set up and should be working.

unlocked Samsung S10e having calls go straight to voicemail

No new apps, tried safe mode, checked all settings no issue. The only thing I noticed is in my apps under system I have multiple phone apps of the same app, the default green with white phone and green with white outline of phone. I just received this from Samsung 3 days ago and have not loaded any phone apps. Talked to Samsung and they most likely the carrier has some setting that forwards my calls to voicemail. Strangely if Tmobile calls me the call comes thru.

Get out of the red problem

After switching to Tmobile from Verizon using the get out of the red promotion, we no longer had access to our Verizon account for a final bill, once that bill was sent it was past the 30 days we apparently had to submit the bill to Tmobile. Now they will not honor the promotion and we are stuck with an over 1k Verizon bill. After speaking with customer service and waiting another week for a reply from them they said that there is nothing that they can do. After another online chat I was given the freedom number listed in some of these boards and can not get through to speak to a real person. What do I do? Please help.

cannot suspend line on account

I used to be able to suspend my line and reactivate under lost and stolen phone. However when I log in that option just says "Contact us" instead of letting me report the phone lost. I use this method turn the line on and off for my kid when he doesn't follow rules. Now I have to contact support which makes it a pain.

Cruise roaming

Hi,Are we only charged if we use the services when connected to a cruise ship's cell tower? The cruise ship I'm on (Carnival Sunrise, previously known as the Carnival Triumph) has no data at least under the old Triumph name. I don't plan on enabling mobile data, make outgoing calls or send outbound text messages. I also have unconditional call forwarding enabled so all calls goes to voicemail immediately. As a safety precaution, I also went into my T-Mobile account and blocked all international charged roaming. If I leave airplane mode OFF (disabled), will I be charged any roaming fees if I just have my cell radio on and it's connected to the only tower available which is on the ship?Just want to clarify how roaming works. I assume connecting to the antenna itself is not the reason for roaming fees but the actual services used.Thanks.

I think my my.t-mobile.com account is obsolete

I have had the prepaid Pay As You Go - Legacy plan for a long time, so I set up my my.t-mobile.com account a long time ago.I tried to follow the directions in this support document to change my account PIN from one with 4 digits to one that's longer. But what I see on my.t-mobile.com doesn't match what the document says should be there. Also, in the not-too-distant past, I made changes to my profile there but they reverted after I logged out. And when I browsed phones on prepaid.t-mobile.com and clicked to indicate that I had an account, the site malfunctioned.If I use my phone number to sign up for a T-Mobile ID, will I get an up-to-date version of my.t-mobile.com?

Then if I watch my home security camera or a youtube video for a couple hrs, my whole month of data is gone.So, I found out T-Mobile provides a device called 4G LTE CellSpot V1 that connects to my home Internet and allows my cell to connect to it via 4G. I thought, oh, that is great. Even if my cell is on 4G, it connects to this device then use my Internet. Then I will never use up my data as long as I am at home.Then, I read the above line. What the! If I watch youtube, how do they know how much data I have pulled thru off my home Internet?

voicemail.my.t-mobile.com’s server IP address could not be found.

HiI try to reach my tmobile voicemail while online (chrome browser/windows 10) and get the message:voicemail.my.t-mobile.com’s server IP address could not be found.This is the only site in the entire internet this happens to me. I've tried different browsers as well. Rebooted and reset everything (routers etc).This also happens when using my android phone and in addition to voicemail.my.t-mobile.com’s server IP address could not be found it also says DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAINHelp kindly appreciated.

New prepaid page kinda messed up?

Yesterday (5/27) I had a good chat regarding using CCs on the T-Mobile site. I had to disable/delete the app. I tried to ADD funds to my prepaid account, and it was doing its same song & dance routine. I would get to a certain page (using a CC), and it would return me to the previous page. I did a little more digging and came across "prepaid.t-mobile.com/refill-account". A few minutes ago I went through the motions,and when I hit the CC it bounced me back to the previous page. AND, after receiving a confirmation code I was able to enter the Support Community. I then decided from that page to got to T-Mobile site I had to get another code to get access to that page. Can't the ENTIRE site recognise the first code? Now if I log out, and try to reenter the site I would expect to get another code.

Not able to sign in despite of knowing my password

I am in a foreign country and now I can't even receive a verification code to login into my account due to unavailability of T-mobile network. I need to login to pay my bills and request temporary suspension also, what to do now? Just a minute I was able to login with my security questions, but now that option is also not available. The only way they left me with is to log in with verification code which I can't receive. What should I do now?

Does incoming text msg affdct my pay-to-go balance amount?

I have just refilled my tmobile account under pay as you go plan on 28 may. It has been just 2 days(now 30 may) and I haven't make any single calls nor send any outgoing text messages. The only activity I had during these 2 days was receiving incoming spam messages. And apparently I noticed that my balance dropped exactly by the same amount of text messages I received. ($0.10 per text) I have used by my monthly usages of 30min/text msg
