I've read a few posts on this, but I can't find a definitive answer. Is the port-out pin the same pin that is listed under my T-Mobile ID section of my account profile in my My.T-Mobile.com account (https://my.t-mobile.com/account/profile/tmobile_id) as the "PIN/PASSCODE"? Or is the "PIN/PASSCODE" a pin just for verification when accessing my account and there is a separate pin for preventing porting of my phone number? This post implies that there are 2 pins (one for account access and another for port out):Port security PIN But this page (at the bottom under the "Port-Out Fraud Protection" section) implies that I can set a port out pin from my My.T-Mobile.com account:Account Verification | Customer/Authorized-User Verification Also, will setting one PIN on the account protect all the lines under my account or does each need a separate port-out PIN?Thanks
I keep getting locked out of my apps because I can never verify with my phone number. I never get the text messages with codes, I can never make online appts to follow links because I never get the links. I have an IPhone and it’s completely updated.
I have heard about this happening to a lot of people, unfortunately I saw all the stories *after* I filed a claim. I will soon have to mail my damaged phone back. I contacted T-Force and they said that I cannot turn it in in-store since the Protection<360> stuff all goes through Assurant. I am scared they will lose my returned phone and then bill me for it, as has happened to so many other people.Has anyone successfully done a return with Assurant? Any advice as to how I can protect myself - like getting a receipt and buying package insurance? I've also heard filming myself boxing the phone and sending the package is good, does that really help? And what can I do if/when they lose my phone? Also, has anyone actually had a *good* experience with Assurant or Jump? Literally all I am seeing is horror stories.
Please forward this complaint to the correct department. My son had issue with his cell phone and needed a new one while he was at college. After we struggled through the process and finally just ordered him a phone from T-Mobile online, I was informed all I needed to do was provide him full access to my account. I logged onto My T-Mobile and change his and all other users on my account access to full access. Today, another person on my account had issues with a phone. They went to T-Mobile store and were told they could not do anything because they were not an authorized user. Why can I not authorize a user on My T-Mobile? When I asked customer service, I was given a line about protecting my security. Here is the truth. Having a person call in and give information over a phone to a rep is not more secure than me using the internet. In fact, it is less because someone at your company now knows my business. I should be able to manage all aspect of my account through my T-Mobi
Occasionally Ill get a text while Im on my laptop and Im just wondering is there an app or something I can download that is provided by T-Mobile, or by Samsung, that allows me to text the person in my phone through my computer rather than my phone? This would also be helpful for those long winded messages that need to be sent that you just dont feel like texting all through your phone, and could type much faster and with more accuracy through your computer.
I am completely appalled at what happened today. I had finally decided to ditch ATT due to slow LTE speeds in my area and jump over to T-Mobile and went to do so today. I'm going from an LG G4 to a Note7.My information was taken for a credit check, which I wasn't at all worried about. My credit isn't excellent, but with all three fico scores in the upper 600s I assumed there wasn't going to be much of an issue, even if a small deposit/down paymentt was needed. Add to that my perfect history with ATT and Verizon and I figured the switch was a done deal.So then, imagine my surprise when I was told they could finance the phone for $700 down. Seven-hundred.First of all, I can't imagine why I'd bother because at that point it would make more sense to buy it outright. Relatively speaking, I paid less down and had a significantly easier time purchasing a new car recently. I contacted customer service to see if I could figure out why it was so high, and if a mistake might have been made. The r
I need to see if there is a way to delete a certain number from my messaging log on my T-Mobile account, does anyone know a way to do this? It's only one number but multiple messages incoming and outgoing.I have deleted the messages from my device but now need the "account message usage" to be gone....I have a nose significant other and I just don't need the argument
I've been trying to buy the Galaxy S9 from T-Mobile since the day it was released. I've tried literally every single day on multiple devices and even through the app on my phone, my mom's phone, and my sister's. No matter what I do it always comes up with an "Oops we hit a snag" error and then sends me back to select the phone and payment options after it starts to load the final screen that let's me purchase it. I'm so annoyed at this point that I'm ready to switch to another carrier. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, have you found a solution for it? I've tried clearing my cache, I've tried incognito mode, I've (as I already stated) used several different devices with no luck.
Hello, Did anyone else have an issue today when they redeemed the Fuel Rewards with Shell only $0.05 was credited in lieu of the $.10 off? My Fiancé and I are confused for we confirmed we are at Gold Status and can’t get through to a Fuel Rewards Rep or a T-Mobile Rep (been on hold for almost an hour and a half (90 minutes).
TLDR; when trading in your phone through the mail, are you supposed to receive a trade-in kit in the mail seperately to send your old phone in? Or do you have to go in the store and ask them to do it for you? So I’m supposed to send in my old phone as part of the trade-in process, and I’m confused on how to send them my old phone? I’ve received the new phone...and when I made the arrangements in store they said I should receive a separate box to mail in my old phone with all the information on how to do it inside, but I’ve yet to receive it, and it’s been about 5 days since the order was made, 3 days since having the phone they sent me.I looked at the shipping label on my order status and I scanned the code to either schedule a pick up or go to the post office- If I go to the post office will they package it for me? Is it similar to like an Amazon return or do I have to package it myself?I honestly feel like the answer is so simple and for some reason it’s just going right over my head
I am trying to figure out what the difference is in this and how do I find out which one I have? Does the device have to be paid off to upgrade or can I upgrade even though I still owe - how does this work? Thank you, Suzanne
Overseas Travel: How can I avoid incoming call costs but still use free text/data roaming while abroad?
We're planning to travel to Europe later this year and would like to take advantage of T-Mobile's free international text/data roaming. However, I saw that incoming calls are charged at one minute even if you don't answer; per T-Mobile's website: "If your phone is on when you get an incoming call, even if you do not answer it, the call is charged one minute for delivery to the phone. (There are no charges if your phone is turned off.)" I get multiple robocalls/telemarketer calls per week, and I don't want to rack up charges for unwanted calls. Is there any way to temporarily turn off incoming calls or route them directly to voicemail to avoid charges? If so, what are the steps to do that?
Hello, I am having trouble. I went into the T-Mobile store with two different phones and they reset the network settings and now the data does not work on either phone. The guy in the store could not fix it but he said to contact device support online and they will help. I am Deaf and he said they have a live chat online so somebody can help me. I found the link, it asked me to log in, and once I logged in the link disappeared and I have spent almost an hour navigating the website trying to find the link. Can somebody please help me. I’m very frustrated.
