I am a new T-Moble customer as of August. Today I received a rude shock when I learned that some conference call phone numbers (in the US) are "out of plan" and that T-Mobil will charge me extra to make what have been routine calls with other carriers. For a plan that is advertised as covering all of the US, Canada & Mexico this seems like a "bait & switch" policy. Does anyone else object to this?
Hi! I'm currently enrolled in a T-Mobile Prepaid plan ($40 Simply Prepaid 10GB LTE – Unlimited Talk, Text, Data). I've moved out of the US and I'm unlikely to come back in a short time. If I wanna cancel the plan and the number, do I just let the funds on my account run out? I don't have auto-pay on and I currently have about $20 on my account. Thank you!
Using the t-mobile home internet program, devices are having issues with and maintaining the 2.4ghz connections. App says that the 2.4 and 5 Ghz are working. Unfortunately, a Roku and tablet says they're unable to connect. The Roku connected just yesterday 😥 I've tried turning everything off and on and still can't connect. This has been an ongoing issue. The 5ghz devices work well. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Also since I'm here...does anyone have an idea on how to improve coverage in the house? Will an extender or mesh help? My gateway box is a bit further from one of the rooms and we'd like to up the signal strength if possible to that area. At the box, the signal is "good" and I've tried various spots in the house looking for "excellent" signal strength but was not successful. Thank you for any help you can provide.
Hi there,I'm having a really stressful time right now getting the run around from T-Mobile and Assurant regarding a phone claim I have. The Merchant Return Labal states: PERMIT NO. 395 LANCASTER, PA Assurant YORK PA, 17402 625 WILLOW SPRINGS LANE STE A; RMA # 405-32835102-3.I've been charged 300$ on my phone bill, despite returning this phone almost a month ago. When I call up Assurant they state the warehouse still hasn't recieved it. I feel like I'm being taken advantage of for a mistake on Assurant's end, and T Mobile says they can't refund the money on my bill. I'm literally at a loss for words, I sent it and feel like it's 100% their responsibility for not receiving it, what should I do?
Hello,Sorry for the long post to follow. Here is what happened to me recently. On Sunday 1/19/2020 around 2:30pm, I noticed that I lost T-Mobile network connection. Everybody around me, including those with T-Mobile network were fine, with 4-5 signal bars. I assumed it was a phone/setting issue, rebooted the phone, reset the network setting, but nothing. Removing the SIM and re-entering did nothing either. I decided to turn off my phone for a little bit then an hour later, when I turned it on, I still had the same issue, WIFI was working though. I decided to try my friend’s SIM to see if it was a phone issue or SIM and network connection came back so it was a SIM issue. I decided to call TMobile with my friend’s phone that evening and they were able to reactivate my phone. I asked them what happened and they said that they were not sure, most likely a glitch.Fast forward to Tuesday morning 1/21/2020 at 4am (I wake up early), I checked my bank account and see that there was a unauthorize
Hello, I currently have a LG G4 and I've been planning on upgrading to an iPhone 8 Plus. My question is that do I need my primary account holder, since it's not me, to help me upgrade by providing information about our plan and phone or can I just walk in to a T-Mobile store and do it myself?
Hi, I’m trying to re-certify my advantage program discount as instructed by T-Mobile. My question is where can I find a current list of companies/organizations that participate in the program? I work for and are affiliated with different companies/organizations and want to make sure I choose the right one prior to verification. Can someone please let me know where I can find this list? I’ve been calling around everywhere and no one seems to know and the links that used to point to the Advantage program no longer work.https://www.t-mobile.com/business/customers/advantage-program-reverificationObviously there has to be a list somewhere otherwise how are they able to verify?please help ,thanks.
I have been with Tmobile for a while now. I have a old iPhone 7. Been trying to upgraded but all these deals they have you have to add a line. The business model for Tmobile is let me get you a deal at the start but not give you anything later when your with us for a while. I have four lines and don't want to add another line. I just want to get another deal on the iPhone without adding a line. Is anyone on the same boat as me. Speak up or this won't change. I think I might switch carrier.
When I log into My T-Mobile (from various desktop browsers like Firefox, Chrome, or Safari), it never remembers my device. The home page says I have an "Unknown Device"The Phone tab says I have an iPhone 6s, which is incorrect. When I click "Not your device?" link and select the correct iPhone model/color/capacity, I see a "Confirm" popup ("Are you sure you want to update the phone for [my name] to [my model]?").I click "YES" and briefly see a pink spinner, but the update doesn't take effect! 😮This is not a super serious problem, and I'm admittedly a bit OCD, but it just bugs me that the website (phone thumbnail graphic) is still wrong every time I log in.😕The funny thing is that my wife's device (secondary line on the same account) displays just fine. And she's had the same model as me.
how did you safely enroll in McAfee identity theft protection offered by T-Mobile to its customers affected by data breach?
T-Mobile website says to request the offered McAfee coverage and await an email from McAfee with link to Complete Enrollment Now. An email is sitting in my spam filter from firstname.lastname@example.org but I don’t know whether it is safe. If you used used a link in an email from this address, were you able to set up the offered McAfee id theft protection through it? thanks for any help.
Hi. I joined T-Mobile last week with my family on a Magenta® MAX 55+ program. Among the various conditions that we were offered, we were told that if we move with three lines, the third line will be free, and that our monthly bill will be $90. After two days I received my first bill for $135, charging me for the third line. I was sure that it was a mistake, and called to ask T-Mobile to fix it. But I was told that they are “sorry” and that I am “ineligible for the promotion”. I asked to speak with a supervisor that apologized for the “miscommunication” but said that she could not help.Do other people have an experience of being mislead when joining T-Mobile? If so, did you get it resolve? What’s a good way to deal with this.Thanks.
