T-Mobile Bait and Switch scam on December 2021 "Free" upgrade to IPhone13 + airpods

My Family has been scammed by T-Mobile! 1st mistake: In early November we switched from AT&T to T-Mobile. 2nd: Mistake: Fell for the so called “Free” IPhone 13 upgrade scam! I traded in/sent them my perfect condition i-phone 12 pro max for a i-phone 13 pro max and was told I would received $1000 in installment credits over 30 monthsI traded in/sent them my wife’s perfect condition i-phone 12 pro for a i-phone 13 pro and was told I would received $1000 in installment credits over 30 months I’m now being charged $36.67 - 15.50 credit for each phone. So being charged $21.17 for each phone per month. If you do the math they gave me $465 each for my phones.The promotion was $1000 credit on any I-phone 12! They lied!My local store employees verbally guaranteed we would get the full $1000 because that was the promotion!I’m still fighting to get the full credits. Next step is filing a complaint with Better Business and taking legal action filing a class action lawsuit. If

How Many Others Were Lied to About Your EBB Eligibility

I'm curious how many other customers were lied to by T-Mobile's customer service about your eligibility for the FCC's Emergency Broadband Benefit. I was told, as of this writing, that if you open a NEW T-Mobile Home Internet Plan, you can receive the EBB pending approval through the FCC. This is a LIE. After dozens of emails, calls, and complaints spanning over a month, I was told by the Office of the President of T-Mobile that you may receive EBB only if your plan was active prior to March 10th. You will NOT find this information publicly listed on any of T-Mobile's website. However, even with this March 10th cutoff date in mind, if you call and ask customer service about opening a NEW account, you will be lied to and told you can receive EBB. Buyer beware. Even after reporting this to the FCC and making it known to T-Mobile's upper management, this lie is still being spread and causing customers to sign up with the false belief they will receive a monthly discount. No monthly discount for loyal customers?

I asked for a monthly discount from a Tmobile customer service rep today and just to find out that they do not have any. He just advised me to go to this community blog with the hope that a Tmobile concerned personnel will pay attention to this concern.My husband and I have been with Tmobile for well over a decade now, going on our 14/15th year. For some reason, even though we are not happy with the reception/connection service that they have, we have been with them for this long... i guess that is what you call LOYAL customers, don’t you think? That is, you stick with them thru thick ‘n thin. Being so, i was expecting to get a loyalty discount off of their monthly bill to make their loyal customers happy and stay longer. It would be nice to see a line on their Tmobile monthly bill/statement that says, “Loyalty Credit”. When should we see this?

Fraudulent activity by a TMobile employee switching my SIM # to a new device to steal funds

Hello,Sorry for the long post to follow.Here is what happened to me recently. On Sunday 1/19/2020 around 2:30pm, I noticed that I lost T-Mobile network connection. Everybody around me, including those with T-Mobile network were fine, with 4-5 signal bars. I assumed it was a phone/setting issue, rebooted the phone, reset the network setting, but nothing. Removing the SIM and re-entering did nothing either. I decided to turn off my phone for a little bit then an hour later, when I turned it on, I still had the same issue, WIFI was working though. I decided to try my friend’s SIM to see if it was a phone issue or SIM and network connection came back so it was a SIM issue. I decided to call TMobile with my friend’s phone that evening and they were able to reactivate my phone. I asked them what happened and they said that they were not sure, most likely a glitch.Fast forward to Tuesday morning 1/21/2020 at 4am (I wake up early), I checked my bank account and see that there was a unauthorize

Live chat support please

Hello, I am having trouble. I went into the T-Mobile store with two different phones and they reset the network settings and now the data does not work on either phone. The guy in the store could not fix it but he said to contact device support online and they will help. I am Deaf and he said they have a live chat online so somebody can help me. I found the link, it asked me to log in, and once I logged in the link disappeared and I have spent almost an hour navigating the website trying to find the link. Can somebody please help me. I’m very frustrated.

Forced to reset my password

Why does T Mobile's website force you to reset your password every couple of months!? When banking institutions who actually MANAGE YOUR MONEY leave you in peace, it's crazy for a phone company to force you to reset. I know the generic IT response will be "it's for security reasons", but you shouldn't FORCE your customer to "be secure". It should be a warning where we get the OPTION to reset, not being forced to do so. So I guess my question is, is there a way to opt out of this "security feature" or someone I can talk to that can disable that from my account? After a full year of this nonsense, I'm getting to the point where I'm willing to leave the company if I don't get a resolution soon.

cannot access account after signing in

I have tried numerous times on numerous days in numerous months to access my tmobile account information. I can sign in and it shows me an option to select either my hotspot number or phone number for the phone. It doesn't matter which one I select. I always get this same message and can go no further:"We are currently having trouble with your request. Please wait a few minutes and try again." So, what do I have to do to be able to access my account since it doesn't let me do anything once I have signed in?

Amplified Plan - How do I enable HD Streaming

Previously I was on the One Plus Promo plan that had an option in my account profile under media settings that I used to enable HD streaming. I moved my plan to the Amplified plan that provides One Plus and HD streaming, but the media settings section in my account profile is no longer available. How do I enable HD streaming? I also don't see anything in the app (in fact the app doesn't even list my plan correctly, unlike the web site which does).

I run a small Boy Scout Troop communication list. I send out weekly email to sms reminders about activities. Tmobile has blocked the email address I use. Number porting problem

I called T-mo support Friday afternoon to inquire about and then initiate porting my long standing Verizon landline over to my T-mo cellphone. Was assured my info was complete, and it would complete in 2-24 hours max. I called back friday night to check in, and was reassured that all was in order, but 25 hours later there's been no progress., and no message from T-mo on status. I called back in, and after a brief review... was escalated to another rep/team that had no details on my open request, who took my details again. The rep found my request in the system and said it wouldn't be addressed until mid-day Monday. Despite my queries, I wasn't able to get a straight answer on the reason for delay and am starting to worry this might go awry. I unexpectedly have a lot going on right now, so this delay is causing a number of personal communication problems. If there's some kind of discrepancy i can help resolve... I'd like to do it now, rather than wait for Monday to see no change, and ha

Hey there!My name is James, let me start with the summarized version of the issues: When sending a message from Gmail to a phone number **********@tmomail.com, the message successfully reaches the phone when that address is entered into the "To" or "Cc" field of the email, but the message is blocked when it is entered into the Bcc field. I tried this on multiple carriers and it seems that T-Mobile is the only one with an issue. Now for a more in depth explanation. I am currently testing to see if a Gmail account could be used as a quick alternative Mass Notification System for my company. I used my own cell and a few co-workers cells in the test, my own is T-Mobile and the others were AT&T and Verizon. When I sent the message from Gmail to the respective phone numbers, it reached everyone, but I had entered the addresses into the "To" field on the email. Ridiculous Down Payment

I am completely appalled at what happened today. I had finally decided to ditch ATT due to slow LTE speeds in my area and jump over to T-Mobile and went to do so today. I'm going from an LG G4 to a Note7.My information was taken for a credit check, which I wasn't at all worried about. My credit isn't excellent, but with all three fico scores in the upper 600s I assumed there wasn't going to be much of an issue, even if a small deposit/down paymentt was needed. Add to that my perfect history with ATT and Verizon and I figured the switch was a done deal.So then, imagine my surprise when I was told they could finance the phone for $700 down. Seven-hundred.First of all, I can't imagine why I'd bother because at that point it would make more sense to buy it outright. Relatively speaking, I paid less down and had a significantly easier time purchasing a new car recently. Assurant robbed me for my money.

I have about 3 devices under assurant protection with t mobile. I ended up damaging a screen on one and filed a claim. while waiting for them to send me one in the mail. I had an unfortunate event and got the device stolen, being cracked and damaged it doesn't hold any value anymore. I called assurant to see if they could help me out since I didn't have the original device no longer and pay a higher deductible since I wouldn't be able to return the old one. They declined to help me and stated if i wasn't able to return the original device they would charge me full price for the replacement.. Note they had already charged me $100 for the deductible and now they were also going to charge me the price of a new galaxy note 8 when its not even new ( its refurbished) which doesn't have the same value as a brand new note 8. They declined to help knowing I still owe $400 on my original. I paid over $500 just on insurance this year and the one time i decide to use their service, I end u

Paperless Billing - Update Operation Failed

I'm trying to receive my paperless bill notification via email in addition to text updates. When I got online to Profile -> Billing & Payments -> Paperless Billing, edit settings by selecting the check mark next to my email address and check the T's&C's at the bottom, I receive the error message below.I've tried changing email addresses in my profile but still receive the same error message regardless of email address. Can't change line nicknames...

As the primary account holder, I have tried multiple times to change one of the lines on my account. I've contacted T-Mobile to request that they do it on their end. The name changes on their end, but on my end, whether in my account on the Web site or on the app, the nickname stays the same (incorrect)... No matter what I do I can't change the nickname.Any others out there encounter this problem and have come across a fix?
