Jump on Demand exchange (equal value, different phone)?

I’ve just placed a Jump! on Demand order for iPhone 8, but after reading reviews for the new SE 2020 (and seeing that they are the exact same price), I was considering exchanging the 8 for the SE. I guess my questions would be:

  • Would it be possible to do an exchange immediately without waiting a 30-day-period if I don’t open or activate the current order, and
  • If I don’t open/activate the current order, would there be a fee for returning it if I can’t do an even exchange?

I couldn’t find anything about bypassing the 30-day period, but you should be able to return the device if you don’t want it as long as it hasn’t been too long. You’ll need to contact one of our Care Experts to set that up; either on the phone, through the T-Mobile app, or on Facebook / Twitter.
