I currently have the prepaid plan. If I switch to the Magenta plan, can I still keep my same sim card and phone number?

You can keep the phone number but you will need a new sim.
if you have tmobileONE prepaid, and switch to a Magenta post-paid, you will have better coverage/eligible for signal booster, but your LTE usage is extremely limited, due to immediate slowdowns
