Profile e-mail conflict

I login with my email address. T-Mobile sends a verification code to my email address. I finish logging in.

I go to my T-Mobile profile page. It shows an “Account E-mail” address that is not mine. I enter my correct e-mail address, to which T-Mobile just sent the login verification. T-Mobile returns the following: “ This e-mail is already registered. ” It will not save the correct e-mail address that I have used with T-Mobile for 10 years.

Is this kind of dysfunction typical of the new T-Mobile + Sprint???

How many hours does T-Mobile expect me to work for them, for free, to clean up their mess?
