Rates for incoming texts from a UK phone in the US

Hey,

Is there an extra charge for texts from someone in the US, using a UK cell phone (registered to a UK network?) I'm on the Simple choice plan.

Also, would there be a charge for me texting them in the same scenario, OR receiving a phone call from them?

Thanks!

You get charged rates for texting and calls to uk since that is where they are based and their service provider. You don't get charged for receiving anything. They would be charged more for any incoming or outgoing use as they are roaming in the USA. They should check with their provider for the rates and if there might be Wi-Fi options.
