I need shortcuts enabled in order to update password

Ok, we can’t help because we can’t access your account. You’ll need to contact Tmobile by phone or message by Twitter or Facebook and have them enable short codes on your account.

what would i need to do to get the short code block lifted ..???

I believe if you are prepaid or no credit check the shortcodes come in from premium short codes you will not get them.  I believe no credit check there is an option to turn them on by calling in, but none for prepaid.  Been a while so I don’t know if there are changes.
