Sync Up Drive t-mobile account

just got my sync up device for car. Trying to set up my t-mobile account online but when I go to set up account and put the phone number I was supplied i get the return message that says security code will be texted to this number. Problem is I don't have a t-mobile phone account to receive the pin number. How do I activate account?

If you have an option to register with an email address, you could try that. Other wise, you'd wanna use the SyncUP DRIVE app to get all the details about your account for this device.

I'm in a similar situation, I have a SyncUP drive and installed the app as well but it does not show the total data usage and neither the router config page (192.168.0.1), so how can I keep track of the total data usage? also, with SyncUP drive phone number I couldn't setup an account and this restricts me from viewing my monthly bill and reach out to customer care via chat. is there a solution to it?
