YesterdaybI received by email a notice that T-Mobile Arbitration paid you $200. It is posted on my Venmo account page. I have not transfered it. I contacted PayPal last night and they emailed back that it was aphising scam. So I called Venmo and they said it is in my account but suggeted I contact T-Mobile before accepting it. Did anyone else get something similar?
So I just went on my account and saw $200 posted like you. Dated for March 8th. Didn’t even know it was there until today.
I have since contacted T-Mobile customer service and it is a legitimate settlement paid by T-Mobile.
You can accept it and transfer it to your bank w/out fear.
After I commented, I searched around more and yes it’s legit.
I received a text recently and it was not sent to my venmo. I have tried setting up my zelle account to receive this payment, but however it didn't transfer. My bank didn't receive anything and venmo doesn't know much.
