Transfer of Ownership When The Current Account Holder is Outside the U.S.

I'm getting different answers when I ask 611, go to the store or chat thru the T-Mobile site.

The current account holder is no longer in the United States and there is no plans for him to go back.

I'm an authorized user on the account.

We've tried doing thru the phone by having a third-party conference with 611, but they said they couldn't do it on the phone.

I also tried going to the store but also told me they couldn't do it since the current account holder is not in the store.

Transfer account or line ownership

I believe the account owner needs to start the process and needs to verify himself. An authorized user can't start the process themselves.

While you can make changes I don't believe you can cancel. The PAH needs to cancel service .
