I know how to look in MyTmobile and see how much overall data I've used, but how do I know how much tethering I've used???

Are you able to see this usage using the T-Mobile My Account app? If you check the section of the page that says How-to guides: all platforms it has steps on how to check the usage. It's really neat because it gives a clear breakdown that separates the usage for you.

Yep, that worked; clicking on "detailed usage" showed tethering usage.  Thanks!

Data and smartphone Mobile HotSpot (SMHS) usage in the notification bar

  1. Access the My Account App.
  2. Select Account Info.
  3. Select the phone line that you want detail on.
  4. Select Detailed Usage.
    Note: SMHS usage will display on unlimited high speed data accounts (7 GB SMHS) only.
