I got the same text twice but I didn't think $90 was worth the chance of getting my account hacked.

This is almost certainly a spam text that is attempting to gain your T-Mobile identification information. I don't believe T-Mobile will send unsolicited texts about prizes, especially not texts with hyperlinks to some "amazon" site. This is likely just a scammer attempting to "phish" for your personal information. As far as I know, T-Mobile's only prize and gift offers come from their T-Mobile Tuesdays App. You can go there to see legitimate offers from the company.

Here is a link and quote talking about SMS spam and security risks.

"If you receive an unsolicited message please forward it to the Spam Reporting Service following the three simple steps below:

  1. Forward the message to 7726 (which spells “SPAM” on most phone keypads). Please don’t edit the message or add any comments."

https://www.t-mobile.com/privacy-center/education-and-resources/sms-spam

Hope this helps.

Is this also a scam?

My guess is yes. Google the phone number

I did, but nothing interesting popped up. I'll just ignore it.

Thanks for your input!

I got this text today, I only have TMobile home internet so it had me worried since my cell service is through metro. Do u think this is real?

Fake, especially since you have Metro as cellphone service provider.
