why does T-mobile send verify code to cell when I change my SIM?


this is the 2nd time i’ve had to change my PIN in past year. But when I go to my account to change my SIM or call to change my SIM it requires a verify code, which is automatically sent to my cell phone WHICH I CANNOT RECEIVE BECAUSE I HAVE A NEW SIM CARD!

Can someone explain why this is the policy?
