IPhone8+ I’ve struggled with delayed call and voicemail notifications for years. A phone reboot or airplane mode toggle or network reset would show the missing notifications….but subsequent missed calls/voicemails would not appear. After many wasted hours of support calls and store visits with no resolution, I finally found the source of my problems…….too many visual voicemails!!!!!! PERMANENTLY DELETE ALL OLD/LARGE VISUAL VOICEMAILS!!!!!!!!After removing ~100 visual voicemail messages, I now get immediate missed call and voicemail notifications.I am so happy!!
Hi, everyone. T Mobile has decided that they want me to let everyone know they should be checking their account immediately for unrecognized devices, lines, and higher bills.Nobody in our household has iPhones, but just today I was notified about a DIGITS promo that had been incorrectly applied to my account. As it turns out, T Mobile had allowed someone to add a new line and device on to my account without my knowledge. The best part is, they had been using DIGITS for some unknown reason. Perhaps it is to steal my information, perhaps it is to spam people from my phone number. In any case, customer service did remove it from my account right away, but my bill (after adjustment) is yet still $10 higher than it was last month. This kind of security breach must be something I am responsible for. They have so far been completely silent, and I am wondering what it is going to take for them to make this right. I’ve been a T Mobile customer for about a month now, and every week there is some
I just joined T-Mobile from Verizon. We bought two new phones outright and those lines went active immediately. Ordered another phone for the account to take advantage of a trade-in, but kept my old phone and replaced the SIM card with a T-Mobile card. This morning I received an e-mail that all accounts were suspended. The new phone is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I called customer service and they said that they did not know why all accounts were suspended, and that they had no way to communicate with the fraud department except through e-mail. They said the account is usually suspended for 24 hours at least. This doesn’t make any sense to me. No reason provided so I can’t react to it, and meanwhile all family members are left without a communication method. Does anyone have any ideas?
Has anyone tried to use DIGITS on a emulated Android device? I am running VM VirtualBox. Within this I am running a virtual Android device. I installed the DIGITS app via Google Play. Curiously, if I run the app without maximizing the created window, it asks for my T-Mobile ID - I enter it, and then my password, and click the login button. The little whirly circle appears on the screen, suggesting the information is being processed. After a moment the whirly circle disappears, and the screen is unchanged. There is no error message printed on the screen - but it does seem something is not working right. I do have the virtual device’s wifi working fine, otherwise I would not have been able to download DIGITS from Google Play. The emulated android device only has wifi - there is of course no actually ability to access the cellular network - but that *should* be fine for running DIGITS, or so I am told. For some reason, however, if when starting on the app, I hold the mouse click for an ex
My Family has been scammed by T-Mobile! 1st mistake: In early November we switched from AT&T to T-Mobile. 2nd: Mistake: Fell for the so called “Free” IPhone 13 upgrade scam! I traded in/sent them my perfect condition i-phone 12 pro max for a i-phone 13 pro max and was told I would received $1000 in installment credits over 30 monthsI traded in/sent them my wife’s perfect condition i-phone 12 pro for a i-phone 13 pro and was told I would received $1000 in installment credits over 30 months I’m now being charged $36.67 - 15.50 credit for each phone. So being charged $21.17 for each phone per month. If you do the math they gave me $465 each for my phones. The promotion was $1000 credit on any I-phone 12! They lied!My local store employees verbally guaranteed we would get the full $1000 because that was the promotion!I’m still fighting to get the full credits. Next step is filing a complaint with Better Business and taking legal action filing a class action lawsuit. If
Hi, I have a TCL Android phone for about a year, and I have always enabled hotspot on it from time to time, and then connect my other devices (e.g. ipad) to it when I am outside. About two weeks ago, hotspot stopped working, my ipad can connect to it but there’s no internet. Originally I thought it’s the ipad, but I tried other devices and got the same connection but no internet issue. My wife’s phone (IPhone) is able to turn on the hotspot and working properly, the ipad and other devices can use her phone’s hotspot wifi without any issue. I have also tried resetting my phone’s network settings, and that didn’t help. Now I am wondering if something happened to my line and somehow it’s being restricted from being used as a hotspot. Is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot? Thank you for the help.
Hello, Did anyone else have an issue today when they redeemed the Fuel Rewards with Shell only $0.05 was credited in lieu of the $.10 off? My Fiancé and I are confused for we confirmed we are at Gold Status and can’t get through to a Fuel Rewards Rep or a T-Mobile Rep (been on hold for almost an hour and a half (90 minutes).
so my friend currently is in county jail and has been calling me for months and i have been getting the calls until recently, however the past maybe 2 months or so he has called several times where it doesnt even ring on my end but it will his and eventually get my voice mail and when you look at my call records the number shows up on there too...it doesnt happen every time he calls the past 2 months just sometimes...my account is in good standing and i prepay for jail minutes with my credit card so its not like i even add them to my tmobile bill...anyone else have this kind of issue or has? can anyone help? i called customer service and basically they didnt know why either and this doesnt happen with anyone else
Wondering if anyone else is newly having this issue. I found this thread that started two years ago but still had replies within the last four months and there doesn’t appear to be a solution. I spent nearly an hour on the phone with tech support earlier and though we tried a ton of resets on my phone, as well as her manually changing what tower my phone is connecting to, I still cannot receive text messages from most accounts, including T-Mobile verification codes. Tech support had to text the other phone on our account so I could verify it was me. Many things require two-factor authentication these days, so I can’t just go forward not receiving texts. Tech support said they would monitor my account for 48 hours, but wouldn’t be able to tell if I was being sent messages that ultimately weren’t getting delivered, so I’m not sure what the monitoring is going to do. I’m searching for any type of solution at this point. I feel like someone ought to be able to hit the master reset on my ph
So new customers can get (4) new samsung phones INCLUDED for $160/month...Meanwhile, I have been with TMobile almost 10 years... the best I can get is a $250 credit towards a phone? So my bill will go up almost 30/month per line to get 4 new phones... Sounds like it's time to switch carriers, unless there's something I don't know about.... What if a friend wants to open a new account, can they port/break their current number off of my account (tmobile->tmobile)?
Mint Mobile has unlimited plan for $30. Right now they have a deal where its $15. I have asked several time for a loyalty discount but T-Mobile doesn’t seem to offer this program. Have any of you made the switch, is Mint Mobile a viable option? Thanks!
Really? Mint is trying to work with you to get linking with them accomplished. Are you unable to do so because your security and infrastructure is unable to support on your end? If so, how can you expect consumers to trust you with their money and leverage your banking product? I will NOT use your banking product until such time that you have successfully implemented securely interfacing with Mint. Please make this a priority on your “Future Enhancements” list(s).
I have been a customer of Tmobile for the last 16 years and have filed 3 claims 2 damaged phones and 1 stolen. I have paid $4,608.00 in total for insurance on my devices. $42,240.00 for phone service. I am beyond upset and no is not even the amount I am erroneously being charged by assurant through T-mobile. But is the scam that assurant is able to get away with! This is my story, I accidentally damaged my phone in September and filed a claim with assurant for this phone to be replaced, my claim was approved next day and I received my replacement. I sent the damaged phone back to assurant on September 14th and received a notification it was received September 17th in their York PA warehouse. I received a letter in November stating phone was not received, so I called assurant and their Rep stated that they had actually received the phone but the package had not been scanned in. Then I get a charge on my T-Mobile account in December stating assurant never received their damaged device. I
