Headphones work fine for listening songs (e.g., youtube). However, headphones leak sound when used with visual voicemail and with calls (including app calls), even when volume is set to minimum. I tried using a few different headphones. My phone is Samsung. Why is this happening and did anyone find a solution? Is it Android 13 issue or Samsung issue?

your headset has a mic built in?

One has a mic, the other does not have a mic. Same results with both of them.

wonder if the same thing happens on a non wired BT head set or not with the same apps?

Are you using a USB-C adapter to use wired headphones?  Cheap third party adapters can limit functions of wired headphones.  A big part of the issue can be the analog to digital conversion.

The same issue also happens at least with Zoom. Sound is also leaking. However, I am able to decrease the volume more, so it is more difficult for people around me to understand conversation.

I am using just a 3.5mm jack, not a USB-C adapter.

I have not had an opportunity to try it with non wired BT head sets yet.
