My husbands galaxy s8 started having no data connection recently and followed directions for wiping the partition cache. When the phone restarted it made him sign back in to his google account and the screensaver he had was no longer on his home page. After further inspection we found all his previously downloaded apps were gone but more importantly all his texts and photos appear gone. Is there some place on the phone we should be looking for them? Fyi- His contacts remained on the phone
After the most recent Android Pie update on the LG V40, it seems the Widevine Security Level has been downgraded from L1 to L3. This has resulted in certain apps such as Vudu, Netflix, Prime Video, etc...not displaying content in HD any longer. Anyone experiencing the same thing, or have any advice??To check your device, download 'DRM Info' on Play Store.
Why is it taking so long with 9.0 update for the LG G7? 10 Q system update is already being talk about and they saying it could even come out in March and I'm still on 8.0.lol not even 8.1 lol that is sad.. And I know y'all don't even know.. Which is sad. If y'all do know I apologize if y'all don't it's sad.. Is there a date Gor the 9.0 system update for lg g7
This community has some great people that are very passionate about their devices and helping others! OnePlus is looking for people who own a T-Mobile firmware OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 7 Pro that would like to participate in testing and providing feedback on future updates for those devices. These potential updates could potentially cause issues and bugs with your device, so that in mind. You do accept the potential risk of your device needing to be factory reset and committing to providing feedback directly to OnePlus on your user experience. Here is the link to the thread to find out more information and sign up.
Anyone know what's up with T-Mobile apparently not certifying/allowing anything past the April update for the unlocked version of this phone? Carrier-locked version has the update, and newer updates have been available for the unlocked version on every other carrier for a while now. Being forced to stay this far behind on security updates because of the carrier isn't very encouraging for my trust with either T-Mobile or Samsung.
I found this thread https://support.t-mobile.com/thread/136485Unable to get this phone to work with my security camera. I had no problem with my android when I was with Verizon. Switched over to Tmobile and LG thin q 8 I cannot view cameras when wifi is turned off or when I am away from home. I called tmob but they are not aware of any reason. I am sure this is a tmob problem. After ready the above thread I have a big problem with this phone. Just need to find the fix.
I used to love my S7 Edge. It was fast, had great battery life and a wonderful phone. In the past few months, it's giant pile of steaming poo. The System UI was constantly crashing and it was soo slow that the phone would vibrate when a call came in but the it didn't display the call until it started into the 4th ring. I had some cracks in the screen and got it repaired and the battery replaced. I thought let's just wipe it out and rebuild. that made ZERO difference, all the same problems as before. It's beyond frustrating that updates to the phone have basically crippled it. In addition the Always on Display no longer works. I've tried everything online I can find to get it to work and it's so frustrating that the AOD just quit. I'm technical and I'm just frustrated that this has become crippled because of updates that I have no control over.
I have a Samsung Note 8 from T-Mobile. It is stock and current. My wife has a Samsung S9 from T-Mobile. It is also stock and current. We both use a 820.11ac WiFi connection (ASUS AC3200 router) and our Internet service is FTTH (1 Gbps U/D)My Note 8 maxes out at around 250 Mbps U/D while my wife's S9 maxes out at around 400 Mbps U/D (pretty symmetrical). Both were tested from the same spot (~2 feet from the router) and both are connected to the same 5 GHz channel. Now I am not complaining but I am curious about this discrepancy. Are the WiFi chipsets and/or MIMO antennas in both of these devices that different?
Has there been any word on when Community-1 will start to roll out updates for the Community-2947? Out of the box, the device was already an update behind its unlocked counterpart, and OnePlus has rolled out two more OTA updates since the launch, putting us 3 updates behind after only two weeks. T-Mobile's Software Updates page shows no updates in progress for any device, let alone the 6T, and both OnePlus and T-Mobile have been reluctant to say exactly how much of a delay we can expect.14 days in, the 6T is still missing half of the features advertised at the product launch. No Navigation Gestures 2.0, No short press of the power button for Google Assistant, no Studio Lighting, and Screen Unlock fingerprint reader is slow and unreliable at best, just to name a few things that Oneplus had already added/fixed at launch for their unlocked devices.I can come to terms with not being on the bleeding edge anymore (I upgraded from a Oneplus 5T on the Beta channel), but I at least want to know
Does anyone know when T-Mobile will deem us worthy enough to get the FOV selfie toggle button on the camera that came out with the May update package for most other Note 9 users except T-Mobile users apparently. The Night Mode scheduler appears to have made it with the June update, but again, other people got that with the May update package.People should be getting the Night Shot camera mode with the June update, but not T-Mobile users apparently since I don't see that included with the June update. Why is the FOV update so late? Is the Night shot mode going to be as late?Wish I had known updates was going to be like this with this carrier before I switched.
Hi,1) I have been waiting for April update for my Galaxy S10e in hopes of getting camera night mode that Samsung introduced last month for S10 devices - got update yesterday, but it did not address any of my questions2) I remember that on Galaxy S8, Visual Voice Mail and T-Mobile Digits were built into the phone's dialer app, but I am not seeing the same on S10e phone.Does T-Mobile support it already or devices may need to have a future software update?
