can i use my metro pcs service a network loccked tmobile phone

If I have an account with metro pcs but my phone got broken... my dad got me a new phone from tmobile and a tmobile line..... I tried to take the tmobile phone to metro pcs and put my metro service on the phone instead of the new tmobile line, and the representative said that the phone was reported stolen. Now when I looked up the imei number it has not been reported stolen and don't know why it would be reported seen because the phone was brand new out the box. So I went and put the tmobile Sim card in there and activated the service and it worked and did not say anything about the phone being stolen. Why is that?? Can I take my old metro Sim card with service and put it in my new phone from tmobile, even though it's network locked since metro pcs is now tmobile  or do I have to get my device unlocked?

Got notification this app may be harmful, anyone else having problems with it?  Tried to ask through the T-Mobile app but it crashes when I tried to upload the screenshot but that's something for a topic of its own...

Same text going out multiple times

Samsung A71 5G Network Issues

So I bought a new samsung a71 5g from the tmobile store almost 2 weeks ago. Love the phone overall but the signal is getting me under 3mbps download and maybe 5mbps upload speeds in places by old phone was pushing 30mbps. Also the wifi calls drop all the time and then data service goes in and out. Here is a photo showing full 4g bars at Ontario airport for example and there is no network connection. Is this a known issue for this model, is there a fix coming? I am about to return the phone to the store honestly.

Google Pixel 6?

Does anybody know if you'll be carrying the Google Pixel 6 and Pro? The reason I ask is because there's a launch event on the 19th of October and then supposedly preorders is going to start on the 19th of October as well. I know that T-Mobile entered into a new Google partnership again which almost 99.9% guarantees that T-Mobile is going to get the new phones in the future. Also I just recently came across a blog post on T-Mobile's official website about how they're going to support future Pixel phones other Google devices as well as make Google Messages the default messaging app. So I can only assume that it's going to come to T-Mobile, but I don't want to jump the gun and make that assumption and get let down if it's not coming to T-Mobile. So I would just like to know in advance if the Pixel 6 is going to come to T-Mobile, so I can get prepared to preorder it on the 19th. Also I'm very well aware that I can get an unlocked version from Google directly and then use it with T-Mobile's

Frozen phone

Good morning,My phone number is ***-***-**** and my phone is frozen. It is fully charged and was working fine first thing this morning and it suddenly froze and the screen has the T-Mobile logo and Revvl, which is the phone I have and seems to be acting up on a consistent basis. It will not shut off nor can I do any functions on it. I tried calling my number from my work phone and it rings once and goes straight to voice mail.  I need immediate assistance please as I use this phone for work.Thank you,***-***-**** (work)Message was edited by: MC

Why no loaners?

Why is T-mobile not offering loaners to customers that have spent hundreds of dollars on insurance for phones while they are sent in for repair?  I have to wait a week plus for my phone to be repaired and during that time there is zero option for me to have a phone without spending more of my money.  I went to a T-mobile store yesterday and they suggested I take my phone to Best Buy and pay for the repair on my own.  How messed up is that customer service?  Please tell me why I should continue giving you 300 a month?  I called the 800 number and was told there is nothing they will do for me.  Basically T-mobile knows this is happening but isn't doing anything for the customer stuck in between this massive merger.

charging port damaged

The charging port on my j3 will not accept the charging plug and will not charge. It looks like the port is damaged and pushed into the phone.

Activating SIM card on replacement for lost phone

So I lost my phone, blocked the device, and was able to file a claim to get a new one. However, when I go to activate my SIM, it wants to send a text verification to my phone number. Obviously, this won’t work as I had lost my phone and am trying to activate the replacement SIM card. Is there anyway to fix this? Or do I need to bring my replacement phone into a Tmobile store and have them activate it there?

Unable to open links

I just got a new revvl v+ phone and when I get a text message with a link in it I can't actually use any of the links. I can only copy the whole message and not just a part of it. Is there a setting I can change to be able to click the links? I went into the advanced message settings and can't find anything.

stuck on tmobile screen

My phone powered down without human initiation and is now stuck on the T-Mobile screen.  I am not sure if it ever fully powered down when he became stuck or if it became stuck when it tried to power on.  Either way it is stuck on the screen and I cannot get the phone to turn on or off.  Please help.  I have had a horrible day with T-Mobile and this is just adding to my frustrations.

Don't receive automated account verification text messages.

For any site I visit (desktop or mobile version) that has a 2-step authentication and sends out a text message with an access code, I don't receive that message on my phone. I do receive texts from other cell phone numbers. And I can see the messages on both the standard message app that comes on the Samsung, and the Google app that I mostly use for texts.

Group MMS glitch

So this is an extremely odd occurrence but yesterday my Dad(galaxy j7) sent a group text to my wife(galaxy s10) and I(galaxy s10) wishing us a Happy Anniversary. Well when my wife responded the group message disappeared and it only showed as a conversation between myself and her. Now the weird part is after that anytime I text my wife or she texts me my Dad receives the message as well.  We have disabled group messaging, cleared the message app cache, reset app preferences, and deleted each other as contacts. I’ve exhausted hours with tech support from Samsung and T-Mobile to no avail. We still are not saved as contacts in each others phones and deleted all messages between us yet still when I text my wife or she texts me somehow my dad receives it as well. All three of us have T-Mobile for a carrier but 2 different plans. I am hoping something similar has happened to someone else and can help us out.

Is Xiaomi FINALLY coming to America and T-Mobile?

I’ve been keenly watching Xiaomi reviews on YouTube for YEARS.  Those people release a new value phone every 10 minutes.  WHILE YOU READ THIS POST they’ll announce another new phone. Anyway -- anyone who knows Xiaomi knows their phones don’t necessarily support enough channels to use in America and on T-Mobile.  But in their recent presentation for the Redmi Note 10 S -- For those who don’t know the significance of this -- it’s hopefully a big WOW.  As long as T-Mobile doesn’t intentionally purchase the most expensive Xiaomi phones to offer ‘half off’ -- -- it means the days of carrying around a $1000 Apple or Samsung and praying you don’t drop and break it are over.  The Redmi 10s is like $225ish and enough phone for most people.

is there a way to disable the subject:nosubject header for MMS on galaxy flip3?

In my MMS group chat i keep getting an annoying header directly above every received message. Some others in the past were able to fix this issue with removing the  Google hangouts app, but seeing as that app doesn’t exist anymore, is there a solution here?

Motorola One 5G Ace & SA 5G

Just purchased a TMO branded Moto One 5G ACE. I am a little upset that this new phone does not have the Stand Alone 5G enabled out of the box. After reading all the specs on the Moto webiste, I would have assumed that it would have come enabled since the SA network has been building out for months now. Confirmed that SA is not working based on Cellmapper.net data, where SA site are now being recorded in my area.Anyway, does anyone know the schedule for SA being enabled on this phone? What about Android 11? Thanks,BiilyChuck

Mobile@Work blocking T-Mobile trying to install an app

I am getting a push notification every 15 mins or so that reads:com.tmobile.echolocate “Blocked by your IT Admin” Our company only allows app installs through Google.How do I disable this notification as it is a nuisance and interrupts my active calls.

Glass screensaver issues

I purchased the S9 around mid to late April, can't remember the exact date, but I was kind of pushed into buying a case and cover to "protect my investment" which is all fine and good,  but for over $100, I'm disappointed to say the least. The case is offered at other merchants for $10 or so.  My fault for not shopping around first, I get that,  but the $59.99 glass screen protector had the first major scratch in less than a week. Now there are so many scratches, it gets in the way of actually viewing my screen.  I am wondering if T Mobile will accept this as a return? Obviously, it can't be resold, but I feel a bit betrayed on this. Yes, the actual screen is being protected (I hope) but my $1,000 phone looks just like the one I had, except that the scratch on my S6 was tiny and only visible when looking for it.  This phone looks awful! Even my 3 year old commented on the scratches. Are these things supposed to be this prone to scratches? I keep my phone in my purse so I guess maybe my

Why Isn't Pixel 5 Listed As A Supported Phone?

My phone is listed in my account as Unknown. When I went to look for a listing of T-Mo supported 5G and 4G LTE phones, the Google Pixel 5 is not listed. The older Pixels back to the 3 are okay. The online chat agent said the T-Mo engineering group is continuing to research the Pixel 5’s compatibility. On a ten-months-old phone, which will be overtaken by the Google Pixel 6 in a few months? I don’t understand.
