Planning on buying Nokia 7 Plus which is available on Amazon US. Does Tmobile support the LTE bands for this?

As much as I'd like to tell you that the Nokia 7+ would work on T-Mobile, it just isn't so. (I'm a Nokia fan from way back). The LTE bands for this phone as listed on GSMarena.com are:

4G bands    LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 20(800), 28(700), 38(2600), 40(2300), 41(2500) - Global

The only two bands used in the USA are 5 and 41. T-Mobile has band 5 only in Myrtle Beach, SC and Sprint is the only carrier who uses band 41.

Hey there! Were you able to locate the supported networks for this device? You can check them against the T-Mobile network bands & technologies to see how good of a fit this would be! 😊

The Nokia 6.1 the Nokia 6 released this year should work on T-Mobile. It's also a pretty well made device with solid specifications. I would rate it up her mid-tier myself.

It does work but only receives H+ as signal. No LTE or 4g

So, after some research I have a Nokia 7 Plus model TA-1046. Looking at the 4G bands, some are supported by T-Mobile USA. So I expected them to work. I got off the plane and all I see is a very poor edge connection. Even if 4G doesn't work, shouldn't the 3G network work? Am I doing something wrong?
