No software update since switch from Verizon to TMobile

Recently I was looking at the security patch on my Samsung Galaxy S9+ and noticed that the last security patch was Dec 2019. That’s about the time when I switched from Verizon to T-mobile. The Baseband version is G965USQS7CSK5 which I can’t even find on Tmobile support articles anymore. This led me to believe that I haven’t been getting any software upgrade since I switched the carrier. Called the technical support and the person I talked to has no idea about security patch and said it should be pushed automatically. I tried to do the Software update->Download and install but it said all my software are up to date with the current version G965USQS7CSK5/G965UOYN7CSK5/G965USQS7CSK5 and security patch level: Dec 1, 2019. The tech support said I could do the factory reset but that would wipe out all my settings. Just wondering if anyone runs into this issue and have a fix.
