Restore previous backup of deleted texts with my Galaxy S23 Ultra, 512GB

I deleted by accident years of texts from one of my contacts. I use google messages and I back them up. My backup ran this morning. Is there a way that I can restore my messages?

I might add the deletion was several days ago so my resent backup would not have the deleted texts.

if your phone updated today then that info is more than likely covered over by the newest backup. you’ll have to dig into your Google account/backup and see if you can pull it back in.
