Please make sure the Network Settings are turned on to use 5G. You should also check out our Signal issues / no service troubleshooting page for helpful steps and a link to our coverage map to make sure you’re in a 5G area.

Make sure your APN settings are correct.  BYOD T-Mobile data & APN settings | T-Mobile Support

also which sim card is in it? should have came with the correct one but might as well double check anyways.
