My kids have older LG G2 phones that must be upgraded to 5G network phones. Best Buy seems to have better pricing on basic phones, so I’m considering upgrading my old Aristo to a phone with more storage. Will I simply transfer the SIM cards or do I need to visit a T-Mobile store for assistance or any
possible troubleshooting ?

If the sim card is the same size you can transfer it but I suggest getting a new one,
If you have a post paid account you can do the transfer from your MyTmobile account but Tmobile is offering a free lower end 5G phone with 24 months of bill credits with any trade in.

Check out the Nord 5G phone from you Mytmobile account. I saw it was free with any trade in with bill credits.
