Normal text message are automatically showed in my phone message app. However, when it comes to my group chat, with my children, why is it that the messages need for me to tap onto to load before becoming able for me to read message? Also, the message appears in individual message, once I've tapped and it has loaded, it will go appear in the group chat?! Very problematic while trying to read message and have to go back and forth thru chats. Any suggestions would highly appreciated. Not a very tech savvy phone users. Using a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G. Thanks in advance.

In your messaging app, turn on automatically download MMS.
usually means your data signal is not the greatest or you are roaming. which as mentioned above you can go into the texting apps settings and set it to auto download while roaming.
