unusual battery drain after nougat update on LGv10

I'd have about 50% battery left before I go to sleep and the phone dies by the morning. I've updated using LG bridge. Is this happening to anyone else?

After a large os update a factory restore is the best option.

Thanks for the reply. I did the factory reset but I didnot set it up as a new device. Do you recommend I do that instead of doing a backup

Yes!

Restoring from backup restores all the info and data that might not jive well with the new OS.

Start fresh!

Pictures and music, media and things like that might be ok to restore, but apps and app data will usually conflict one way or the other.

You can re-download from Play using a PC for faster download from library.

Thank you so much. Setting it up as a new device worked.

And also my battery life is significantly better now with the nougat update.
