I tried using my Samsung Galaxy A14 5G phone with wired headphones with a 3.5mm jack. If relevant, headphones do not have a microphone. However, the headphones are leaking the sound (even when I set volume on minimum). When I plug the headphones in and when I do not wear them, I can still clearly hear the sound. Headphones work well with all other devices, including my previous Samsung Galaxy phone. Restarting the phone does not resolve the issue. Dialing *#0283# (for a loopback test) does not return any menu and does not work. Even when I decrease the sound to zero, I can still hear [loud] sound coming out of headphones. It seems the sound comes from headphones, not from the phone. Changing volume does decrease and increase the sound. … Does anyone have one of newer Samsung phones with a 3.5mm jack (e.g., A14 5G), and do wired headphones work properly with it? Did anyone manage to resolve this issue, and how?
