I am seeing 2300 under the number on the text messaging charges. Does this mean that person or number was blocked?
It started showing up for us anytime my husband and I are in a group chat with my parents and non of us have each other blocked.
2300 is a message block. If you don’t have them blocked in any way on your side, including though any parental controls, then the block might be on the receivers end.
Normally, I’d be inclined to believe that, but given how often we talk, I am quite positive my husband and my mom don’t have me blocked or vice-versa
2300 text seems to be when you text in a group text , instead of listing all the participants in that thread, the text 2300 is inserted. We have several different family multi person threads. When I check the call log, only one or two numbers from that thread is on the log and the text 2300 is there instead of all included numbers from the thread. It seems to condense the rest of the included numbers to 2300 instead of listing them. I am shocked by how clueless T-mobile is to be able to give its clients an explanation.

I don't see any 2300's for texts on my bill and I have a few active grouo chats that have a bunch of messages from 3 to 5 different people in a day and are a mix of Android and iPhone users.
I think it also shows up if you are sharing locational data with the member as I got it after sending daughter location.. somewhere I saw it defined as a generic server msg kinda stating that it’s not a normal text to text process.. so if you’re hiding your location or gps off or something it might pop up too like pressing *67 but for messages going thru public wifi or something.
