international roaming is turned on? you might try contacting TMO through either FB or Twitter in case something was missed.

This seems to happen sometimes when the data link from the roamed carrier back to T-Mobile’s APN is overloaded. Does your phone allow you to manually select a different roaming partner? Do you have a ping utility to test if you have any data connection at all?
