That’s why I am not a guinea pig for betas.

You need to talk to Apple about that.  When doing beta Apple themselves will tell you features may or may not work.  If you need a particular feature stay out of beta.

If you are having the same problem as me. The client using the hotspot is not automatically getting IP address information from the hotspot on the iPhone.

I was able to work around this by setting my ip address info manually instead of automatic (DHCP).

The iOS hotspot IP address is: 172.20.10.1 (use this address for the router of gateway address entry)

Give your computer or tablet a IP address manually. I used: 172.20.10.3

For subnet I used: 255.255.255.0

For DNS server I used: 1.1.1.1

This worked for me since I am still having this issue on iOS 17.3

OMG.   This worked for me as well !   IOS 17+ and hotspot stopped working.  I have multiple lines and phones all phones < IOS 17 are fine but any phones on IOS 17 not working.  Until now….thanks!
