How to restore accidentally erased (I assume) texts from one person. They just disappeared. The texts for many years.

you can try to see if they were backed up to the cloud but if it isnt in there im pretty sure theyre gone gone.

This is one reason I always keep my old phones for a back up. If something happens to my current phone I have one to use with all my older sms.

same answer as above. you might get lucky if your phone backed up all your texts but if it did another update to back things up anything no longer there would be gone since it would be backing that up as new info
