We made a claim on an iPhone se shortly after purchasing due to the phone no longer lighting up or being able to be used. Assurant denied the claim. No we’re stuck paying this phone which we cannot use. Does this happen often? Who do I need to complain too? Is it Assurant?

Was it dropped or damaged?

The first year of warranty on Apple devices is usually provided through Apple. Any physical or liquid damage?
