IOS 16 update Face ID No Long Functioning

Good day all,

    I have run into a major issue after the IOS 16 update.  I tried resetting my face ID since it wouldn’t recognize my face anymore. I’ve cleaned the lens, removed the screen protector as well as a reset on the phone. Still, when trying to setup the face ID it keeps telling me to move iphone higher or lower and to no end it will not work.  I do not see any physical damage on the front facing camera as well.  Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

you might jump onto Apples forums for that phone and see if this has been brought up and what the fix/work around is/was.
