At the end of 2016 I bought 2 iphones 7 in NYC. Arriving in Brazil I realized that both were blocked. I did not buy the iphones at a TMOBILE store and the purchase invoice is explicit that the iphones were to be unlocked. How should I proceed? I was never able to activate the devices and i dont have a TMOBILE account

If you do not or have never had a t mobile account,  you will not be able to get it unlocked through them as it is required. I would suggest reaching out to the company you purchased them through as they might have sold you the wrong ones.  Either that or you will need to buy unlock from a service that sells them online
